Great Service but Not So Great Beach!

The company provided us excellent service but the beach wasn't that great. It took us 10 minutes to walk along the pier after we got off the ship then another 15 minutes through the enclosed shopping area to the area where the driver met us. The drive to 'Golden Beach' which is part of Dorarda Beach is about 25 minutes. The van was clean and the driver was friendly. The beach is in an area full of small restaurants and shops. There're beach chairs and umbrellas for rent. The beach sand is brown, the water was not blue and clear like typical Caribbean beaches and on the day we were there, the sea was a little rough. We didn't stay long. On the way back to the ship, we looked at the prices at the taxi stands and found we could have gotten to the same beach by taxi for a little bit less cost.

Driver, Johnny was great. Waited at the beach for 3 hours, until we wanted to leave. Lunch was very good and the water was beautiful. Excellent value for money.

Staff is very friendly and family owned!! We felt welcome and safe.We visited Playa Dorada and spent a good 4 hours at the beach.Also they were on time!! Highly recommended!

Excellent tour. They kept us safe and the beach was wonderful. Lilo was great. They had beer water sodas and juices. The lunch was delicious and were under a tree by the beach. We were provided with chairs and umbrellas. When we left they took us around town and safely back to Taino Bay to board our ship. Highly recommended
