We had a great time riding the horses down the beach with Friendly our guide. He was very knowledgeable on horses and was a great guide. I would definitely recommend this excursion.
Fausto was a great guide during our first horse back riding experience. We got to know the horses better which made the experience more meaningful. I appreciate the pick up and drop off that was also added with no cost. I suggest at resting place there should be some water, food, fruit or snacks maybe to refresh after the first part of the ride. Just a suggestion but we did get water at the end. Great pictures and frame, that was so cute and very appreciated. Thank you again for the great time.
First off, Prepare for the mosquitos. We were a little late therefore, We had a more intimate ride. The staff was very nice very accommodating. They took pictures, shared stories, as they toward us around the beach. Very beautiful scenery!!
Awesome experience. Scenery was breathtaking. Horse handlers were very nice and helpful. Would definitely do again
Faustvo was an excellent guide and very patient. He was wonderful with the horses and remembered our names. It was definitely a beautiful scenic and pleasant horseback ride.
I was scared and nervous the ENTIRE ride. I specifically asked for the slowest horse and somehow ended up with Little Thugga, who apparently thought he was the leader of the pack and needed to be involved in everything.
I talked trash basically the whole time, but the staff was amazing; patient, reassuring, and very kind.
Would I personally do it again? Absolutely not. 😂 But if you want a fun horseback riding experience with beautiful views, this is definitely a great option.
And watch out for that tall brown horse with the Mohawk. 🥴
Amazimg.time with Fausto and co. They really made sure I was safe and comfortable throughout the whole horse ride, they went beyond and also took pics and vid for me personally. Another thing I liked was they called.ypu by you're name whcich was a nice touch. Overall this was one of my best experiences of the trip.
Beautiful ocean views… I enjoyed the gentle horses and the guides especially Frusto. They took the time to teach us the proper way to guide the horses & also checked on us to make sure we were comfortable. Frusto also assisted in taking videos & pictures for us as well.
Fausto was amazing! The horseback riding experience was one of the highlights of our trip. He was friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire ride. The horses were well cared for, the scenery was beautiful, and the whole experience was fun and relaxing. Fausto made it even better with his great energy and hospitality. Definitely recommend booking with him if you’re looking for an unforgettable horseback riding experience!

This was a beautiful relaxed ride. I did not mention to this that i could ride before going but it was still amazing. Our guide Fausto allowed me to gallop twice on the beach and even got an amazing video. We did go on the road for about a quarter mile which was kinda meh. They put a lot of pressure on you in the shop at the end to buy something and when you decline they pressure you to use tap to pay. I politely refused and they were fine. Overall it was an amazing experience even if it was about an hour shorter so actually 2 hrs.

I was hesitant on what to write here because I honestly don’t know what will cause the most harm. The horses on this tour are too thin. You should never be able to see a horses pelvis. Feed your horses! If you want to make money from them, take care of them. They need dental, hygiene and food. Again, I was unsure if I wanted to leave a review because if people stop touring you stop making money and then horses die from starvation.

This excursion was a 3/10 at most. While I genuinely enjoyed the overall experience, I would never book this specific excursion again. There were simply too many people riding the horses at the same time, and the horses were constantly bumping and crashing into each other. The horses also seemed very aggressive toward one another and were biting each other throughout the experience. My cousin was even nipped on the leg by one of the horses. When she told the instructor, the response was, “Horses don’t bite,” which was extremely dismissive and concerning. Unfortunately, things got even worse when one horse bit another, causing it to take off and buck one of the riders off. She was severely injured, and what was most disappointing was the way the situation was handled afterward. There was no meaningful accommodation, refund, or concern offered—she was simply given a free picture. Safety should always be the top priority, especially when dealing with large animals and inexperienced riders. I really wanted to enjoy this excursion, but the overcrowding, aggressive horses, and poor response to a serious injury completely overshadowed the experience. I will never do this excursion again and cannot recommend it based on my experience.

Horseback riding in Punta Cana was an absolute blast — truly an experience I’ll never forget. From the moment we met the staff (I started calling them cowboys!) to the horses, each with their own name and personality, you could tell how much they love what they do. Even at the end, the local vendors were extremely friendly. It felt like a blessing to give back to the Dominican community — their beautifully painted artwork rolls up so you can take it home, and they offer authentic local items you won’t find at a resort. My friend and I will remember the jokes, the laughs, and the memories for a lifetime. When asked to describe the experience, I don’t even know where to begin — the entire experience was pure joy. Five stars all the way!

Was a very nice and peaceful horse riding experience. You don’t need to know how to ride a horse the guides will show you. They will take you on a very scenic tour. The guides also gave us fresh coconuts from the trees.

Pick up was supposed to be at 8:30am - no one ever showed and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone. Had to contact Viator and was told the new pick up time was pushed to 11am. I had already woken up early and got ready so that didn’t work for me. Ended up cancelling so I wasn’t able to do the tour. Had the pick up time been communicated to me in advance, I would’ve been understanding.

We fully understand your frustration after waking up early for a scheduled 8:30am pickup and not having anyone arrive, as well as the difficulty of not being able to contact us directly at that time. The change of schedule to 11am should have been communicated well in advance, and we are very sorry that this did not happen.

Very disappointed. Restroom was a shack no toilet seat no running water and the ground grounds were filthy. My husband was told to pee on the side of the building.

Peaceful excursion, as soon as we arrived we hopped on a horse and headed out. My daughter (9) loved this experience. We spent about 1 hr or more riding down and back along the coast and some side streets.
There was coconuts available at the turn point which was a 5 mins break.
This was the 3rd excursion I attended in DR and it was the most accurate!
