This was a great adventure. Our host was fantastic! And our cameraman/guide was phenomenal! The hike was about 45 min. to get to the waterfalls. A few stops to catch your breath and grab a drink. The waterfalls and slides were worth it. Definitely worth every penny!! We highly recommend this excursion!!

We would 100% recommend this tour. We were looked after from beginning to end and were back in plenty of time for our cruise ship return. Its loads of fun but be warned, there is a water slide at the beginning that you must do with no other option around it (but it's not hard or scary). It's a really fun tour to do and we would recommend it to anyone who is not looking for a lazy day 😄

The rains closed the waterfalls. We opted for the city tour they suggested instead. Friendly guides took us to all the touristy spots. Tbh not all that knowledgeable about the city or its history. Had to google some of the questions we asked. Would have loved to have a high quality city tour especially if they were offering. Maybe next time the falls will be open

We signed up for the earliest group, right after our ship docked at Taino Bay, to try and beat the crowds. To our surprise, we (family of four) were the only ones that signed up for that slot. Werbe met us outside the port and we found out we were getting a private tour with our own photographer. Werbe was more than just a photographer though, he was an excellent tour guide and he ensured we all had a fantastic time. The hike to the falls was not nearly as hard as advertised (though it is NOT recommended for folks that are older and not as mobile and/or out of shape). The jumps and slides and swimming were a blast. We then had a full Dominican lunch buffet which was outstanding. Then a stop by a local site where we could learn about Dominican culture, including cacao production and cigar rolling. We bought a bunch of chocolate, then got a little more tour around Puerto Plata, before being dropped off at the port. The pictures and videos Werbe got were really good, and the price is reasonable. DO book this tour if you are planning on buying the videos and photos and are interested in the Dominican lunch and complete tour of the seven waterfalls. DON'T book this if you are not interested in all the jumps and slides, are not wanting to buy the photos/videos, or aren't interested in an authentic Dominican meal. They put a lot of effort into getting great photos/videos, having a nice lunch, etc. so you should know that ahead of time. As a side note, I saw other groups there that did not get the "full" experience with the seven waterfalls because they were on cruise line tours and some cruise lines maybe don't want to deal with the liability (?) ... And we saw other groups that had a photographer, but it was just a guy with a small pocket camera. Werbe had a professional camera, with flash, zoom lens, etc. and a GoPro. Much higher quality. We also saw other groups that got at least a partial tour, but not lunch. All this is to say that in terms of value, this is the best option out there, hands down. We would not hesitate to go with them again and recommend them to all our friends. Thanks Werbe and ExceptCust Tours for an experience that exceeded expectations.

Amazing experience from beginning to end! Jon, Mara and monkey were professional and friendly! It was such a good time that for sure when I travel back to DR that’s gonna be a tour I most definitely do again. You can’t beat the tour for the price. Also monkey offers a highlight reel with videos and pictures (personal photographer) do not hesitate to take advantage. It helps a ton to enjoy the moment while he takes the pictures versus you missing out on just having fun worried about capturing the moment. Well worth it all around if your thinking about it just do it! My son 8 years old had the time of his life.

Tour is operated by DSRR Tours. Did a 7 waterfall tour that included cruise to cruise transportation, lunch, guide, etc.. Rosario (owner) and his team deserves nothing less that 5 stars. I highly recommend them for safe and secure waterfall tour, very good lunch, free city site seeing included.

We had the absolute BEST time with Antony and Papi Rosario!!!! They provided a safe and comfortable ride to and from the site, safe excursion and SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! this was an unbelievable value, an eight minute walk from the port to get picked up, then a personal tour, hike up to the waterfall, great photos, guides, great photos, and an all you can eat local lunch. nester and antony and lilo were just great. the photos and video were an incredible value.

The jumps from 7 waterfalls was great(3 jumps and 4 slides), the hike up wasn't too bad, just long. The guides from the national park and our tour guides from DSRR were fun and kept everyone safe and informed. A tasty lunch was included and a visit to a family cigar store with other tourist items for sale. A must do in DR, don't think just jump!

What a refreshing excursion during the hot summer! This was our favorite excursion during our time in the Dominican! We loved the free lunch too. It was authentic dominican cuisine! The company picked us up right at our hotel lobby in a nice and very large air conditioned bus. We were the only people in the group for the day and it was 5 of us. Talk about well worth the money! The hike was beautiful and we loved the souvineers we bought at the gift shop during our quick stop. I chose this excursion because of the reviews. There's only 7 waterfalls when its not rainy season and this excursion was the cheapest with the best reviews. If you're still debating on which company to go with, chose this one!

We had a wonderful adventure! Great tour and organization. Nice people and lots of fun. I would recommend to wear old clothes for sliding, because my pants broke. The tour is not for people with a fear of heights. There is only one opportunity to use stairs. You have to jump or slide down the other waterfalls (up to 10 meters high). All in all it was a great experience with great tour staff!

Had the time of our lives! Was skeptical at first as far as keeping your belongings safe but reassured all your things are 200% safe. Werebe and Antoni were absolutely the best guides through the waterfalls, which were breathtaking and a thrill rush all at the same time. They filmed and took pictures the entire time. Which you can get for only $45 and you get a TON of them. Highly recommended. After the falls we went to an authentic Dominican restaurant and got to try some of their original rum. Over all made some exciting memories and would recommend this tour to anyone.

Once we got to the National Park, we were able to use the bathroom before grabbing our life vests and helmets (I highly recommend going to the bathroom before you head out… it is a long hike). DSSR provided us with water and trust me, you’ll drink it! They do give you frequent breaks (it is about a mile of uphill climbing/ stairs before the 1st waterfall). Once there, you have the option to jump or use the ladder —- JUMP! It’s a bit scary but so worth it. After that, there are some small ones you have to slide down but at the end, you get to choose one last time… again, JUMP! The water was so refreshing! Although my husband and I didn’t purchase photos from the company, the photographer was fantastic and was basically a tour guide as well. Afterwards we were taken off site for lunch which was fantastic and you get a little rum with lunch! Then they took us a to see how cigars are made… definitely tourist trap but very cool to hear about and see the process; it’s a huge part of the culture. We made it back to port at 4:15 when the gangway goes up at 4:30 so that was stressful but we made it (: I would highly recommend this excursion and company to anyone traveling there!

This was our first shore excursion we did not book through the cruise. Every part of this excursion was top notch. The bus had Wi-Fi, which was helpful since we didn’t buy the Internet package. Lunch was good and so was the tour after lunch. They were very professional. It is our new favorite excursion. The waterfalls were absolutely amazing!! They even have someone take pictures and video of the whole waterfall experience. Rosario and his team did an outstanding job. We would definitely do this excursion again.
