A greatful experience! It's a all day tour (23h from movenpick hotel). There are some things that are not included on tour so you have to pay extra, but the tour was amazing! We loved our guide (Tarab - i think that's the way we written). Loved the piramids and the museum! The boat expirience by the Nilo was refreshing and fun! We advise you to do it! Thanks for the lovely day!!!

„This is not included, but it is important.“

More of a sales experience than a cultural/ historical one. Been moved from one sales pitch to the next.

Good but not great

Jennifer_S, Jun 2022
Of all the experiences I was booked on, this was the one I was most excited about but unfortunately it did not live up to that excitement. In total the experience lasted 25 hours. It wasn’t very well organised, there was a lot of waiting around which ate into the time we were supposed to have at each place. The museum was the first stop and we started off by waiting outside for half an hour while they tried to get tickets, when we did get inside we then had to stand for nearly another half an hour while our guide explained the history of Egypt and why upper and lower Egypt are upside down on the map, he then proceeded to start an argument with another guide who had two people and were in the area before he took us over there. Then he started his whole explanation again. We did eventually move on but it was very rushed. In the whole museum we saw 6 exhibits while listening to the guide yes explain some of what we were looking at but also explaining his own personal political views. There is no air con in the museum so the air you get is when you move, due to the extended periods of time stood in one place I actually passed out. When we were moving even slowly, I was fine. Twice we were told lunch was next before we stopped to do something else, great stops, don’t get me wrong but when you’ve already been on the go for 13 hours you need lunch and a cold drink. I specifically asked if there was an option of going inside the pyramids and was told yes and quoted a price yet when we got there, it was not an option. We also only got a quick walk round to see the sphinx at a distance. Overall, it was amazing to see the things we saw but despite lasting 25 hours, the whole day was very rushed and disorganised. I wouldn’t do this experience again or if I did I would be with a different company. A shame because the guide was actually lovely and very knowledgeable but didn’t seem to understand tourists and time certainly doesn’t mean a whole lot.

No communication

Massive lack of communication. You have to contact the company to ask them what time they will pick you up. We got picked up at 12am in a private car, was taken half way and had to get on a coach. It's now 2am and we were woken up and told that we had to transfer to another coach. We went and it was full of rude racist Russians who were spread out all over the seats and wouldn't move (I'm Asian and my friend is Carribean and were the only coloured people on the coach) it took 7 uncomfortable hours to get there. Once we were almost there, a guide got on the coach who started speaking Russian. I had selected english and started panicking. We asked why we were placed on the coach and finally we were told that we had a separate guide. We got off the coach and was greeted but our private tour guide Tharwat who was an absolute delight. He is the only reason I didnt give the trip a 1*, but with the rest of the contribution it's a 3*, but Tharwats experience would be a 5*. Lunch was great, would not book with these people again though.

HORRIBLE

My pickup was 2am. After PATIENTLY waiting for an entire hour outside my hotel I finally called the company up only for them to tell me they thought my trip was the following day. They left without us. To this day I have yet to receive my refund. I even had to stay an extra day in Egypt coming out of my pocket at the hotel so that I can book a separate tour to Cairo. Never again! If giving 0 stars was an option, I would have.

This trip was absolutely amazing and...

This trip was absolutely amazing and will definitely go again, the only reason I didn't out 5 stars. Is because so many extras got added onto the trip. I spent £100 that day. And that's with saying no and haggling. So amazing trip just hide your money in 4 places haha

Reine Verkaufsveranstalltung
