Worth every penny! The guide was so knowledgeable and helpful. A tiring day but it wasn't just seeing the sights - temple of Carnack etc. It was the drive through Luxor which was an education and the unplanned boat trip on the NIle for 10 was brilliant. Egyptio Tours did us proud

Trip started off poorly when the day we initially booked onto was cancelled, and we were only notified at 5:30am after already getting up and waiting 30 minutes for the transfer. However, the trip took place the following day and absolutely made up for it. The experience was incredible, and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to convey some complex Egyptian history in a way that made sense to everybody. The heat in Luxor is incredible and strongly recommend people both dress sensibly and take a good level of water with them. The small size of the group (ours was 6), meant it was very easy to always hear what the guide was saying and meant it felt far more personal (we saw some tour groups of 20+ and they couldn't hear anything).

Bob our guide was excellent and the excursion overall was really good. Not for the faint hearted as it is a long journey there and back. Our drivers were really good and this made the experience less tiring. A long day full of brilliant experiences.

A very long and hot day but so worth it. We had an excellent guide and saw some fantastic sights. The pace was good and the lunch excellent. Valley of the Kings, the Nile, Karnak Temple, the Theban Necropolis, the Temple of Hatshepsut all amazing and not to be missed. Wear trainers and light clothing. Take lots of fluids with you and a pillow for the journey. Highly reccomended.

It may seem unreasonable to critique a visit to Luxor Karnak, Nile, Hatshepsut, Valley of the Kings but it's worth a few notes. First, there's no need to book ahead as you can get the same price at your hotel. Second, if possible, get a packed breakfast from your hotel because there are no service stops! Third, the roads are appalling so seriously consider taking extra clothes to cushion the ride. Fourth, our lunch stop was not good, especially for vegetarians, so again consult your hotel first. Fifth, we got faced with a supplementary 10 charge for a boat on the Nile the alternative was a long trip round by the bridge. It was fun but should have been flagged earlier. Finally, the guide was good but only when 'on script' and evasive on questions, so get well-read beforehand. That said, the sites you visit on this trip are completely stunning - unmissable.

I can highly recommend the tour to anyone who is looking to see as much as possible in one tour. I had a very knowledgable guide Mimo who spoke English fluently, and was very attentive and accommodating.
Much content in the day, buffet lunch was great I'm a vegetarian, all in all a great day to be had.
One thing I would have liked is more time at the various sites. Due to the distance you have to cover in one day, time is limited at each site - I guess one just has to accept this.
It is a long day so expect to be very tired by the end of it, but it will be worth your while.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Ali was very knowledgeable and helpful. Because we had a small group, he was able to give us some options to enhance our experience. This was the highlight of our trip to Egypt!

While the sites and monuments visited on this tour were incredible, and the tour was well organised, the tour operator's knowledge was poor, he was very repetitive and condescending. His manner was offputting and his prolonged but meaningless explanations at each site led to limited time to enjoy and view each site.

Nous nous sommes retrouver dans un car avec une trentaine de personne donc 2heures de plus de route. Sans avoir été prévenu , nous avons été pris au dépourvu. La raison était qu’il n’y avait plus de minibus disponible. Si nous l’avions su avant le jour j, nous aurions annulé l’excursion.

Visite de Louxor sans le temple de Louxor, et de la Vallée des Rois sans la tombe de Toutankamon... Un peu comme aller à Paris pour la première fois et n'aller voir ni la tour Eiffel, Notre-Dame, le Sacré Coeur, le Louvre, etc.
Où donc est parti l'argent versé pour cette activité?!
Et un guide qui vous parle amour, famille, générosité, alors qu'il n'a que le fric en tête! Bullshit! Qui vous présente tout ce qu'il vous "offre" comme le fruit de sa générosité alors qu'il fait juste marcher son petit commerce et ceux de ses petits copains. Ecoeurant!

Ein schöner Tagesausflug nach Luxor, bei dem alles gepasst hat. Die Anfahrt ist mit 4 1/2 Stunden hin und derselben Strecke zurück etwas langwierig, aber auf jeden Fall ist es den Besuch wert. Reiseleiter Mimo hat das Ganze sehr informativ und lustig gestaltet. Zum Schluss gab es noch eine kleine Nilbootsfahrt mit Besuch einer Bananenplantage und Sonnenuntergang am Nil. Daumen hoch!
