Disappointing experience

Sales brochure misrepresented the actual tour. Items promised not provided and safety rules not followed. No water/ soft drink in car, no luxury restaurant by pyramids, no helmets on ATV, employee rode ATV causing oversteer, stopped at tourist traps not on itinerary.

We would like to clarify that the restaurant included in the tour is indeed one of the top restaurants in the Pyramids area, offering luxury service and a direct view of the Pyramids and Sphinx. Regarding the water and soft drinks, your tour guide noticed that you already had water with you, so he didn’t want to bring more at the beginning of the tour to avoid it getting hot in the car. He later offered additional water before the ATV ride to ensure it was still cool. As for the helmets, many guests prefer not to wear them, but we completely agree that safety is very important, and we will make sure all guests are encouraged to use helmets in the future. Karam and Mohammad - excellent Tour guides

I am a solo traveler from the United States (male...46 y/o) and I was visiting Egypt for my first time. I booked a Private Tour for the day as I preferred to experience Cairo/Giza with just a driver, an english speaking tour guide and myself (not interested in stopping hotel to hotel to pick multiple people up and doing group tours).This was the perfect experience for me. Consider requesting Karam as your tour guide and Mohammad as your car driver. Karam is knowledgable and knows Cairo very well. Getting into all of the attractions was easy with Karam and he stayed with me, explained history and took so many photos with my iPhone for me. He's a great photographer too. He even called ahead to the restaurant (lunch included with the tour) and pre-ordered our lunch so we didn't have to wait long once we sat down. Lunch was traditional Egyptian cuisine and was excellent. Clean restaurant, too. I went at my own pace throughout the day to see the sights and Karam and Mohammad were both patient with me. The desert is hot - my reco would be to start your tour as early as possible before max heat in the day (I was picked up at 7:30am from the Ritz Carlton Nile River) and we finished around 2:00pm and to also avoid crowds later in the day. I think you can do this tour with a large group for less money, however; I was more than willing to pay what the company was asking to have more of a 1:1 experience w/o groups of people (said the introvert). One thing I did separately was the Grand Egyptian Museum. I bought a separate ticket and did that self-guided. Do this on your visit, too!

I highly recommend this tour. Every thing is amazing and a 5star. They are very professional. Starting from the booking which was immediately confirmed and I was contacted by the tour operator Mr Omar in whatsapp regarding the tour, I even adjusted the time which they accommodated. Then the morning of the tour, I was contacted by the guide Mr Hisham wherein they arrived on time with the driver. The car looks new, the interior is very clean, and the driver is very polite and always smiles. With regards to my local tour guide that day, Mr Hisham is friendly and an expert on his job. He explains things regarding the pyramid, Pharaohs, Egypt culture, education, way of life in a fun and interesting way. He took nice photos and is also like a guard from scammers and nuisances during the tour. More over with the camel ride and the atv, I very much love it. More extra time with the rides. They will stop on locations for a very good background for camera shots. I even got a jumping horse photos in this tour. Also, the lunch is delicious overlooking the pyramids and the sphinx.

Amazing time in Cairo

Amazing tour. We thoroughly enjoyed Karem as well as our driver. They took very good care of us through out the day. Karem was very informative about the Pyramids and all of Cairo. The Camel ride was my favorite activity. The 4 wheelers were very exciting. The tour guides were very helpful.

The tour ran very smoothly and Moustafa made sure we knew about each stop along the way and also gave us some helpful tips that made us feel prepared and safe. Fun and interesting range of activities, highly recommended

This was a fantastic, zero-hassle way to see the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx, while also getting to sample various local activities. I don't think there is any way you could cobble together the same set of activities manually. The Giza pyramids are obviously must see. A colossal human accomplishment, particularly given how early on they were built. Camel riding is worth doing for the experience. They are definitely not horses, and if you are interested in nature/animals are worth seeing up close. The ATV ride was actually the highlight of the day in its own way. Exciting and fun. Our guide helped my GF with hers, since she was a little afraid to drive on her own. Lunch was a good sampling of local cuisine, with a spectacular view of the pyramids and the Sphinx as a backdrop. So top recommendations for all those activities. There was a stop for a demonstration of papyrus-making that actually turned out to be a place that sells Egyptian-themed art painted on top of papyrus. This was followed by a jewelry store and then an oils store that we skipped, after realizing these were all shopping experiences presented as opportunities to learn about Egyptian culture. If you like collecting items from your travels, probably a great experience, b/c clearly a step up from the usual roadside wares. But maybe not as interesting for people who travel for the experience, rather than an opportunity to collect stuff. Karam was a wonderful guide and provided plenty of insight and information along the way. I was suffering from a cold at the time, and he helped us by stopping at a local drug store so I could get the Egyptian versions of Dayquil and Robitussin, which I felt was kind of him. All of the vendor people we interacted with at all the locations were very friendly and happy to fill my cell phone with pictures of my GF and I, in different poses, hah. Overall, highly recommended.

Exciting adventure in Giza

The most memorable part of this trip was the camel ride and the four wheeler in the desert. The camel ride went on the other side of the pyramids were most don’t see all the way to the Spinx. The four wheeler in the desert was as exciting as a roller coaster. We sped up sand dunes and came down.

Karam Mostfa was the best and most accommodating tour guide ever. Lots of information and lots of activities. I only had one day to site see and am glad i went with this, as i was able to see and do a ton! Our driver David was punctual and professional as well. 10/10 recommend. Base price included everything described plus pick-up and drop off at our hotel. My hotel was a little far away so was an extra $20 for this service but well worth it.

Amazing Experience in Giza

My wife and I did this tour. Karam was a fantastic tour guide. His knowledge of the Pyramids and Egyptian history made the tour very interesting and informative. The camel ride was a lot of fun and Guoda our guide made that memorable. Lastly, the Quad Bike ride was really cool. Mahmoud our guide was so good and took some really great pictures. I’d highly recommend this tour.

Hisham and his driver were extremely pleasant to work with and it was fun with his humor! Great memories that day. I learned so much about the city itself along with the Pyramid Complex. Hisham has a lot of knowledge that I will remember forever; Egypt has so much history that I didn't know much about until I came on this tour. I was able to do the camel ride which was unforgettable! I had limited time and had to shorten my adventure due to hotel transfer/packing and they were extremely acccomadating for that. Thank you Hisham! A must do fun, exciting, knowledge, hassle-free, stress-free way of exploring the gems of Giza.. The guide Hisham and driver, both were very friendly and accommodating. Hisham was knowledgeable, cooperative, had a great sense of humor, and best part was his passion and energy. That energy and enthusiasm made the trip so exciting and fun. I strongly recommend to do this tour with this company. You can cover a lot of great places in depth and save a lot of time. The lunch was Egyptian style, with pyramids view and really delicious. Must try mango juice! ATV's before sunset was absolutely amazing. They always take you to the best photo points and offer to make photos.

Hisham and his driver were incredible! Absolutely the best way to see the pyramids and surrounding sites. Hisham was very timely, showing up exactly at 8:30, and the man always had a plan in place and moved through the sites very efficiently. Truly a special camel ride, much better than anything you could buy there. ATVs and the lunch were superb as well. Hisham is very knowledgeable and gave a great tour. 10/10 experience. Being in such a foreign environment throughout the tour was overwhelming at times, but Karam’s presence made us feel at ease. Be aware that many tips are expected and there will be many opportunities to buy authentic souvenirs! Also, there is a definite language barrier with the camel and ATV guides which was challenging but didn’t ruin anything!

Notre guide Karam , nous a appris l’histoire des pyramides et nous a fait découvrir les petites boutiques comme du papyrus , des huiles essentielles , des parfums … Nos deux activités : balade en chameaux et le quad c’était super nous avons énormément de photos souvenirs et le déjeuner dans le resto face aux pyramides était bon. Je vous recommande cette visite les yeux fermés .

Impossibile pensare di fare una visita senza guida perché sarebbe una lotta continua con i venditori all’interno del sito è un importante impegno per spostarsi all’interno del parco. La guida è stata disponibile e abbastanza preparata. In realtà alla giornata sono abbinate delle visite in negozi non dichiarate al momento della prenotazione volte alla vendita di prodotti come papiri, profumi ecc… In un gruppo più ambio potevano anche essere interessanti ma in un gruppo di tre persone come il nostro abbiamo avuto lo spiacevole inconveniente di trovarci in difficoltà nel non acquistare niente e molta insistenza nei venditori che non hanno facilitato la situazione. Addirittura all’arrivo in Italia nel contenitore di trasporto del papiro il papiro stesso non c’era…… scatola vuota…. Ma….. Il giro in quad cortissimo, partendo da una zona molto molto degradata; nel mio caso con un accompagnatore di loro a sedere sul cofano che ha reso la guida probabilmente più sicura ma non divertente. Alla fine di questa gita siamo comunque, tutto sommato, rimasti abbastanza soddisfatto da chiedere alla nostra guida di accompagnarci anche il giorno successivo per un giro al Cairo e ai musei. Abbiamo subito compreso che sarebbe stato molto complicato visitate Il Cairo in solitaria visto il caos presente ovunque. Concordato un prezzo, al pagamento con il bancomat abbiamo avuto un addebito più alto di circa 35€ su tre persone. Alla richiesta di spiegazione ci hanno detto che era dovuto alla percentuale del pagamento con carta, cosa non avvenuta per l’altra escursione…. Tirando le somme non è andata così male nell’insieme ma non è assolutamente una escursione da 5 stelle
