Experience the foods of Cairo with Luu a must

Our guide Luu was excellent . She contacted us by what’s app and that went well . We took an uber to meet her . I felt safe in her company . We started our tour with juice and went to 7 places all yummy . When she says .. feel like a local she meant it . Luu stayed with us till the Uber came to get us . Back in hotel we are ratting the custard pastry and cup of tea .

I traveled to Cairo by myself and stayed in downtown Cairo in an air b&b. I arrived and night and as an American was a bit overwhelmed. I showed up for the tour and LuLu my tour guide was amazing. I was the only one on the tour so I basically had a private tour of the city. She is spoke perfect English, she’s so bright and new the ins and outs of the city. She made me immediately feel comfortable for the rest of the trip and the food and her knowledge was amazing. More people should explore this beautiful city.

The Cairo neighborhood that we walked around and ate in on this tour was so vibrant with locals out enjoying the evening, it really did feel like you were a local (with inside help from our wonderful guide) and the food is great!

Such a great experience. Tried lots of local food and got to explore downtown Cairo. Hassan was super kind and a great tour guide. Very good time walking around learning about Egyptian culture and life while eating some delicious food.
