Visiting the old town for the first time was great but the ride on the felucca was the best. Our tourguide Muhamed Wagih made it memorable.

Itinerary stated the duration at each stop. The tour was rushed. For example, 2 hours at the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, we were there for 30 minutes. Felluca ride on the Nile 1 hour, it was 25 minutes on a motorboat, not even a Felluca. Egyptian museum, 2 hours. We were there for about an hour. I printed the itinerary as reference. The guide kept deviating from the program, taking me to shops which I had no interest in. You see, they have an agreement with the shop owners, bring tourists and get commission. If I wanted to see those shops I would have asked to. It became very annoying and to a point where I was very irritated. I paid for a guide and a driver. Why must I then afterwards tip the driver and guide? I'm sorry, but lesson learned. Double check, if you can do it on your own, go for it, otherwise speak up and let them stick to the program. I had to go back to certain places on my own to see the things I wanted to see. Not impressed at all.

It was great enjoyed 😉 guide was very good felt comfort English was good if it wasn't for the trip we wouldn't of been able to explore cairo we also got to go to take photos near the pyramids

Khaled Mamdoh was my tour guide for a second day. There was a bit of an error with the itinerary of the tour I signed up for, not to worry. Khaled and I made up our own itinerary to make sure I hit all the spots I needed to see on my last day in Egypt. Cairo tower had a great panoramic view of the city, the felucca ride on the Nile was very relaxing, and the local lunch spot we went to was an great experience! Keep an open mind, and you will enjoy this wonderful city.
