Rasha was excellent. We would have been fairly lost going round the pyramids without a guide - it’s fairly chaotic - so very glad indeed we had her and the wonderful driver too. They respected our request for no shopping trips, and got us back to our hotel in good time for our evening flight. Thank you both, made the day smooth and enjoyable.

I think this tour was too expensive for what I received. Overall it was good. The driver was great. The tour guide spoke English well. Minor issues, guide and driver spoke most of the time to each other in Arabic. I didn't want to interrupt them when I had a question. Guide was also on their phone a lot having phone conversations. That was really off putting. Also, the two stops to buy things were really annoying and a waste of time. I didn't appreciate how we didn't have a lot of time for everything else, but managed to fit time for those two stores that I didn't ask to go into. I wish this practice would end. Other than that guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their job and about Egyptian history.

Your guide’s use of their phone during the tour is also not in line with our standards, and we take this feedback very seriously.
Regarding the shopping stops, we completely understand your frustration. These stops should never feel obligatory or take time away from the main highlights of the experience, especially when they were not requested. Your comments reinforce the importance of giving guests full control over how their time is spent, and we are actively working to reduce and better manage these practices.

An absolutely incredible tour, especially thanks to Mo.
I cannot recommend this tour highly enough, particularly if you’re lucky enough to have Mo as your guide. He is hands down one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had, especially in Egypt. Mo is professional, charismatic, incredibly knowledgeable, and always one step ahead, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask.
He truly made our day unforgettable and we honestly wished we could have had him for all of our tours in Egypt. We were beyond impressed. Mo is an absolute legend!
The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. The van was spotless and comfortable with a very professional driver, and the food was delicious. Everything was perfectly organised, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the experience.

Glad to have Asmaa as our tour guide because she gave us great tips and precautions. We thoroughly enjoyed all her explanations. She’s very knowledgeable. We have just had the most amazing tour of the pyramids, sphinx and camel rides with Hossam, who exceeded all our expectations! He absolutely made the trip and it would not have been the same without him! His knowledge is fantastic and he made the whole tour really interesting and engaging for our family. Most importantly we felt extremely well looked after whilst with him. Giza can feel very chaotic and he took full control and made sure we were at all the best places quickly and efficiently. He also took the most amazing photos and sent them all immediately! He knows the best photo spots and poses and just made everything super fun and easy! I would absolutely recommend Hossam to anyone visiting Giza, having a brilliant guide will make all the difference to your trip, well well worth it! Communication was great throughout and the lunch spot he took is to was also very good as well as the driver, car was very comfortable with air conditioning. Brilliant trip! If you're looking for a truly unforgettable experience in Egypt, look no further than A1 Egypt tours. I had the privilege of having Hossam as my private guide for the day and our good driver Hani.
Hossam is a great Egyptologist, who not only knows the place but also has an incredibly warm personality, friendly, and charming that truly made my trip memorable.
From the pyramids of Giza to the breathtaking galleries of the Great Egyptian Museum, Hossam always had fascinating insights and stories to share about the history, culture, and traditions of Egypt. His knowledge of the area is unparalleled, and his passion for his work is infectious. He even offered we make some short stops to places not originally included in our tour, like the Papyrus Institute, the essential oil shop and the Spices. And of course, my Egyptian tour would not be complete without a taste of an authentic Koshari. He brought me to the best Koshari restaurant and I absolutely enjoyed it! And before we separated ways, he treated me to probably the best mango juice ever.
But what sets Hossam apart is his remarkable kindness and willingness to go above and beyond his duties for his guest. I realized I needed a traveling bag to carry the souvenirs I bought and without hesitation, he literally went ahead and look for one himself—searching through nearby shops until we found the perfect bag for me. This level of care and dedication is rare, and it made me feel genuinely valued as a guest.
In addition to his professionalism, Hossam's warmth and charm made every moment enjoyable. He has a wonderful sense of humor; he seems to be friends to everyone we meet during the tour and a genuine interest in ensuring I have the best experience possible.
I highly recommend Hossam and also Mr. Hani to anyone planning a trip to Egypt. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a foodie, or simply someone looking to explore the beauty of Egypt, they will make your journey truly special. We had an unforgettable experience touring the Egyptian Pyramids and the new Grand Egyptian Museum with Mina Samy as our guide and Sayed as our driver. Mina was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Egyptian history. His explanations were clear, engaging, and brought the ancient sites to life.
Sayed was also wonderful — a skilled driver who navigated Cairo’s traffic with ease and made the journey very comfortable. He was punctual, professional, and very friendly throughout the day.

Hossam Gamal is definetely the best tour guide in whole Egypt! He is very sympathic, fullfills all your wishes and is very well educaded. He managed to get us the best photos, protected us from scammers, gave us extra information about the pyramides and Sphinx and took wonderful photos!
Also, he is very honest, when we decided to skip the GEM he gave us the money back.
A true man of honour!

We had an amazing experience with our tour guide, Mahmoud Adel Mayo! He was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and patient throughout our tour. Mayo truly anticipated our needs — he thoughtfully bought us water in advance, knowing we would be spending a couple of hours under the sun at the Giza complex.
When a small issue came up with our camel handler asking for an extra tip, Mayo handled it quickly and even apoligized. One of the best parts about having Mayo as our guide was his talent for photography — he took beautiful photos of me and my husband that we will cherish forever.
Mayo’s care, attention to detail, and friendly attitude made our day unforgettable. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting Egypt!

This was great and our tour guide Ibrahim was just the best. Very flexible, adapted to what we wanted to do, and very knowledgeable. We only took the car and guide and paid for our tickets ourselves and it worked well. We entered by the brand new entrance and it was not busy at all at.

DO. THIS. TOUR! Seeing the Pyramids of Giza was an extremely important part of this once in a lifetime trip to Egypt, which meant that having a great tour guide was even more important. Mo made this day more special, memorable, and entertaining than we ever could have imagined. His passion, knowledge, and excitement for the history and culture here was so infectious. My Giza tour became most amazing as soon as we got a Guide like Hossam. The pyramid site is overcrowded but he made our way through the crowd dodging all salesman who always push you to buy souvenirs. He has a very good knowledge in Egyptian history. He was extremely careful to my parents who are quite old. He is humble and very well spoken.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our driver picked us up at our hotel and then we headed to the pyramids. We picked up our tour guide Asmaa on the way. She was so awesome. She had a ton of knowledge and shared a bunch of the history and theories in regards to the pyramids. We even got to go into the Pyramid of Menkaure. After that we had a really great camel ride with some fun pictures of all of us. Last but not least on the Giza Plateau was a visit to the Sphinx with some more awesome pictures. The Sphinx is fenced in so you can’t get super close to it but it was still amazing to see.
Once that was done we headed out for lunch at a local restaurant. It was delicious. While waiting for lunch to be ready we were given a choice of places to visit. We chose the papyrus shop. There we learned how papyrus is made and even bought a couple pieces. Be sure to barter. They start out very high on the prices.
After all that we headed to the Grand Museum. It was amazing and Asmaa had a ton of knowledge to share about many of the statues. It was a long day but so amazing. We are all so glad we had the opportunity to do this tour.
