I booked the cruise for me, my family and some friends and we all have the same comment, WE REALLY LOVE IT!
The representative from the Tree of Life company, Mr. Ahmed Maged pick us up in our accommodation on time and had the patient to wait for a little while for us to be ready. We were comfortably seated in an air conditioned van and was assassinated on the cruise ship. He show us our table and allow us to have a few minutes to check the area and the top deck. He was really helpful and offer to took our photo.

Tree of Life is a professional company. We were spoiled by Ahmed Maged and he was fabulous. He contacted us several hours prior to the cruise to confirm the pick up time at our hotel. Unfortunately, we were behind schedule and he accomodated us by meeting us at the cruise location. He ensured that we had the correct location and directions. He was professional, sincere, and ensured we had a good time on the cruise. The food was endless and tasty! The entertainment kept my attention from the belly dancer, singing, and table top dancer. I would recommend Tree of Life and Ahmed Maged to any future tourist. You will have a wonderful time.

Our guide was named Ashraf. Most guides of the city work as freelancers. So, regardless of what tour company you use, ask for Ashraf.
He was knowledgeable and friendly. Learned a lot from him.

Fantastic!!!!!! The guide was amazing...pick up at hotel was on time. Very informative. The boat was amazing, the food and the entertainment was absolutely wonderful. I will do this again and recommend it.

Great Experience. Tour pick up was at 6pm but boat cruise starts at 7.30pm and lasted approximately 2 hours. Live entertainment on board including belly dancing and singing. It was great fun on board. Very lively and amusing. Dinner was good too. A good buffet selection including fish and chicken. Would definitely do it again.

Very poor trıp.
Is advertısed as 3 hour whıch I understood was the cruıse. Turned out 1.5 hours of very unpleasant commutıng ıs ıncluded ın the tıme.
We ate a very ordınary meal tıed to the jetty for 30 mıns.
Net result 1 hour cruıse.
Not ımpressed Im afraıd. Not recommended.

The show inside the boat was great! The food was delicious! The only problem was that it lasted one hour and a half, not three hours! I felt that it was too expensive for such a short cruise.

The pick up time suppose to be at 6 pm, however, it was moved 1 hour earlier, luckily i had read the email earlier to know the change. Other than that, the transfer was smooth, and our tour guide was onsite to cater for our request while we enjoy the cruise and the show. The food was good and i would recommend it.

It was simply expectacular!!! We were a group of 4 and we have private transport in our own language Spanish, our guide Adam is an awesome person, gives you lots of information and advice so you will know what to do at all times.

My host Migo was by far the most entertaining guide I experienced in my trip to Cairo. Although I was late to my appointment He graciously waited for me and my travel companions. On the way to the Nile we had wonderful conversations and he showed himself to me a extraordinary guide and friend.

This is actually our second Nile RiverDinner Cruise , each time is as wonderful as the other. Delicious international buffet with live entertainment of belly dancer, folk dancers, and local band. It was very enjoyable. Our guide, Yasser is a warm, nice and friendly guy. He's the best.

This Buffet is a really good down time activity to break up the slightly uneventful evenings in cairo. i really specifically enjoyed my knowledgeable tour guide who actually added a great conversation about cairo to the tour that wasn't really part of the buffet cruise. he was very well spoken and very helpful. this is a good idea for kids who need constant entertainmemt or for adults trying to break up the hot days of pyramid tours with something relaxing in the evening

This tour was fine, but not a must-do. I was frustrated that they put the food away very quickly after everyone went through the first time-- load your plate if you are hungry!
The performers were good at what they do, but it wasn't outstanding. I didn't get a good feel for culture at the show, which was disappointing.
If you only have one night in Cairo/Giza, I would recommend the Pyramid light show over this. It wasn't a waste of time, but I wouldn't go again.

This was a fun night out. The music and dancing was great--and the people on the cruise ship were incredibly eager to please. That being said, go for the entertainment, not the food, as it was a less-than mediocre selection of random food. My husband said it looked like a potluck by people of random cultures--rice, pasta, etc. Given another opportunity, I wouldn't have eaten anything at all. My husband and I got very sick Pharaoh's Revenge! afterward, even though we aren't completely positive that's how we got sick. But just the thought of the food makes me sick...

The tour is great. Food is good. Entertainment is great as well. I was chosen to dance the Dervish Dance in the audience participation part and it was a great experience. Don't know how can they do that continuous spinning without getting Dizzy!!!

The show was nice (belly dancer and the skirt dancer), the last singer was so-so. It is a nice experience but you don't really feel you are in the Nile. If you want to see it, it might be better to take an afternoon trip.
The food... not good. For the price and what you can get in Cairo elsewhere.

This dinner cruise was a lot of fun! Michael was our tour guide and he told us what to expect which was great. The dancers and food was awesome. We had the buffet. We would do it again!

The Guide was knowledgable and fun to talk with. He had and shared a high degree of knowledge, but knowing that my wife and I just wanted to explore the cruise boat by ourselves, he left us alone unless asked. When we were checking out the view on the deck, he found us and told us the show was beginning, which was nice. The show was fine - The Whirling Dervish' and the belly dancer. The band was excellent I'm a music teacher but a bit on the loud side - so I went up deck to preserve my hearing after a while. The food nothing special, but we ate it. The beer was available and reasonably priced. The guide and driver were punctual and his talking on Cairo and Egypt on the way to and from our hotel was interesting and insightful. All in all, a good night, but if you have other plans you might want to stay with that.

This was my second tour of the day. Migo was my tour guide from my first tour in the morning and picked me up for my second tour right on time. Migo was extremely helpful and made the trip very enjoyable. We drove in town some and boarded the Andrea on the Nile River. The boat was nice and they had decent drink options for reasonable prices if you paid in EGP. Migo got a seat for me on the front row. We sat in the section that had the show first. The music was very traditional and pretty loud but set the mood for the activities ahead. There was a belly dancer and some traditional dancing from guys spinning in costume. The entertainment was great. They do try to take pictures with you and print them requesting 5 USD but you can decline and give them their picture back if you don't want it. The buffet followed and it was decent. Not sure how traditional the meal was noodles with chicken, rice and beef stew, fish with white sauce but it was tasty. Since I had the dinner second, there was time when I finished eating to go to the top of the boat and enjoy cruising the Nile from the outside and seeing the views. Migo and our driver took us back to my hotel where we parted ways. It was overall enjoyable - Migo was a great tour guide!

Picked up on time by my guide Migo and driven to the boat where we embarked for our cruise up and down the Nile River. The music and belly dancing was awesome as was the food...had a great time...highly recommend this tour!

First things first: The tour guide was great! That's the 3 stars, the tour itself is around 1 star, I would not recommend it to anyone.
Pick up and drop off worked very well, but the show and the buffet itself was - not worth the time and price. Buffet was only 30 minutes available and already cold!

This was fun. The belly dancing show and Sufi dance was amazing and the food was great too. We literally got into Cairo a couple hours before. Highly recommend doing a dinner cruise down the Nile. It's beautiful! By the end of the cruise we were whooped.

Nice night out, we were picked up by minivan from our hotel in Giza and met our guide Sharieff at the Nile cruise boat dock. He organised our seating, showed us around, gave us the rundown for buffet dinner and approximate times for the Sufi and Belly Dancing shows.
Dinner started about an hour after boarding, after the boat was filled with guests and began the cruise. An old-time rock/Elvis singer and piano man kept the entertainment rolling in the background, as more than 100 people queued for dinner handy tip - either get up first to eat, or wait til the rush dies down! Plenty of good food choices available for everyone and desserts were also great, while watching the Cairo city lights outside the windows, reflecting off the River Nile. Note: If you want alcoholic drinks, they are a bit weak and small for the price!
We took a walk upstairs to the outdoor deck and enjoyed the view - the neon colour lights of the small cruise and fishing boats along the shore was crazy! We also bought some souveniers at the downstairs store/stand on the boat's main deck, at reasonable USD prices - handy if anyone is stuck for last minute gifts.
The belly dancer kept everyone entertained and the Sufi dancers were amazing! How they keep whirling for 5-10mins at a time, while juggling plates and pouring drinks at the same time, is beyond me!! All entertainers provided photo ops, if people wanted to purchase them from the on-board photographer. Overall a really good night out if you are looking to do something touristy, yet a bit different.
And we can't speak highly enough of the staff on the boat and our guide, as one of our girls accidently dropped her credit card on the floor during the night and it was found half an hour after we were on our way back to the hotel...They called our guide in Cairo, who called our driver in Giza, who turned around and took us back to the boat, where the manager there handed us the card! And yes they definitely got good tips after all that! Thanks again to all concerned! :

I really enjoyed this! My tour guide Ismail and driver showed up on time. The guide sat with me for awhile before we could board the boat, telling me about Egyptian life and politics and answering my questions. He was personable and polite. The dinner itself was delicious and the show included singing, belly dancing, etc. was a stunning slice of Egyptian culture. It was reasonably priced and a lot of fun. Thanks!
