You'll get to see the countryside

Our trip was with a local woman who gave off the vibe of being a Hungarian grandma. It was good - not great, but good. The picture Viator uses is misleading. The "fight" is only a couple of times a year, so you'd have to research that independently & then make sure you book it correctly. As it was, we just drove past that area with just a passing comment. If you want a trip that lets you see the countryside of Hungary, without straying too far, then this is it. Walking around the old town, as well as seeing the beautiful view from near the church was the highlight. However, we're 2 adults & 3 fully grown teenagers, smooshed into a taxi with our guide & driver - it was very cozy for a full day.

Dear client, thanks so much for your evaluation. Actually the main picture is not really misleading, referring the heydays of Visegrad castle. Unfortunately you did not wanted to visit the castle inside, though all historical and other infos were told about it in front. Inside there are some possibilities to see armours, exhibtion from the times of knights lived there and even practicize archery. When you read the itinerary, knight jousts are hold on just ocasionally, and there is a 3 day festival in July, the same nature. Sorry for the inconvenience with the car, but this is the first time we hear a complain. Those types of cars - produced in Germany - are used all over Europe, getting an official license for 5 + 2 peoples. Evenso, we hope and learned you enjoyed your trip, and wish you further nice trips, Ildiko, the Hungarian grandma

I highly recommend a full-day tour...

I highly recommend a full-day tour with the local tour guide George Molnar. For my first full day in Budapest, George provided a top-notch in-depth introduction to Budapest. A few days later, we explored the ancient capital. I was amazed at the beauty of Hungary: the history, church, and countryside.
