It is a very uphill walk and you should arrange a ride tour for this tour. Zoltan was very interesting and informative. He answered all our questions and was very patient. We all highly recommend him if you are booking this tour.

Daniel (Danny) is truly a gem! We’ve done many tours but it’s safe to say he’s one of our top tour guides that we’ve enjoyed! We had such a great guide. Zotan was unbelievably wonderful. We threw him for a loop when we asked him if he could show us around the Pest side instead of the Buda side (I erroneously did not realize our group saw the Buda side that morning). Zotan was very amenable and an absolute pro. He showed us so much in our three hour time period and could have gone longer. Zotan is informative and such an incredible historical story-teller and it’s apparent that he loves his home, Budapest.

Private walking tour

We had such a wonderful private tour of Budapest with Sabor. He was so knowledgeable sharing all the history of Budapest. It was such a relaxed calm way of exploring all over. Sabor was was very friendly and easy to chat with. We especially enjoyed our coffee and traditional pastry in a wee out of the way coffee shop with him.

Great tour guide makes a difference

The tour itself was fine but we had not realized that so much of the “castle” was just remnants of former castles that are being rebuilt or were turned into other things. What we really liked was out your guide, Denye (spelling?). He was extremely engaging and had interesting stories about everything we saw. He even brought us into a grocery store to give us a primer on paprika and Hungarian wine and spirits. He made what could have just been an average tour a very good one.

Awesome tour of Buda castle

Laszlo was an excellent tour guide! He gave a wonderful tour of the Buda castle complex to our family of four. His commentary was lively and interesting. Highly recommend this private tour for an in depth tour of the Buda side of Budapest. The entire tour is a walking tour, no transportation is needed or provided.

Daniel was very kind, very intellectual, and very interactive. He answer any & all questions. He tried teaching me how the vowels differ & are used in Hungarian. He shared Hungarian recipes with me. Foods & drinks to try. Showed me beautiful artwork, porcelain and how to guess which buildings are older or newer. And the reason for those that are colored. I loved the personalized touch He had with his culture & people and how he shared that with me.

interesting and entertaining

We opted for a private tour, as we prefer our own pace. We had a few questions before the tour and the agency responded quickly and proactively. Our guide, Peter, was amazing, he picked us up from our hotel. He showed us how to use public transport, which in Budapest is very clean and well organized. We walked in the Buda district and enjoyed very nice weather as he was telling us interesting stories and talked about Hungarian history. Coffee and cake at the local coffee shop was a great part of the tour, as it was very well-timed right in the middle of our walk, so we could refresh and rest for a while. We hope that one day we can return to Budapest

Amazing castle district tour!

Daniel was an amazing tour guide! He spent extra time showing us some of the hidden gems of the castle district. He even showed us some of the special wines and foods of Hungary including a tasting of an excellent torte at the oldest coffee house in Hungary. He even kept my 9 year-old entertained with his stories, no small task! Highly recommend Daniel and this tour!
