The site is a Catholic church; a dress code is required to enter to the venue: Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women, visitors cannot enter barefoot, no flip flops permitted, no see-through clothing permitted.
Due to limited capacity of the elevators, there can be a waiting time between the basilica and museum guided tour and elevator access.

Access to the towers is subjected to weather conditions or other force majeure reasons.
Please note you might have to take the stairs down.
Children under age 6, unaccompanied children from 6 to 17, people with reduced mobility, those who suffer from vertigo or cardiovascular diseases are not allowed to go up to the towers.
The Sagrada Familia kindly requests that visitors refrain from wearing or displaying any religious symbols upon entry. Please note that failure to comply may result in denial of entry.
Bringing documentation for children is mandatory. Admission staff may request official documentation to verify the children’s age (ID, Passport, etc). If this documentation is not provided, the payment of the difference corresponding to the adult rate may be required.

Didn't really know what to expect but was blown away by the building and the history had a guided tour and the guide was very knowledgeable the inside of the building was as good as the outside well worth a visit and the money you pay goes straight back into keeping the work to be completed

Fabulous explanation of the outside and inside of the church and its history! Kassandra is knowledgeable, thorough and apparently excited to share her knowledge. One suggestion: the explanation of this tour mentions the "inside" and "interior", however so much of the tour focused on the story of and creation of the outside of of the building which was SO worthy of the time Kassandra spent here! The wind was so cold/miserable, that I would have dressed more warmly if the tour explanation had mentioned how much focus would be outside ;-). Please thank Kassandra again for her time and energy/ enthusiasm!

The tour advertisement is confusing, it said Tower access optional, and I thought the tour was included the tower access tickets and no guide. I found it is false advertising and the check in process is messy, and a little disorganized. Maybe it just the way it should be? Not sure. Our guide was okay. Definitely overpriced for the tour and I should be more prepared for my trip to buy tickets ahead of time instead of last minute and then trying to get in with tour guide.

Tour guide, Ignacio, was very knowledgeable, spoke English very well and gave us recommendations with regards to our free time in La Sagrada Familia which was great. Not Ignacio’s fault but the audio devices were not always working and during the tour we heard a lot of static.

I first learned of Viator on a Viking Ocean/River Cruise Facebook page and have since found that a few friends have used them as well on European trips. We booked the Skip The Line tour of the Sagrada Familia and were pleased with the process. Viator provided good information as to meeting location, timing etc. Our guide Sarah was lively and informative. My only other comment re: this tour is that the ear pieces provided by the cathedral to hear Sarah were not very good and at times I struggled to hear her clearly.

We ordered an English guide and we got someone who we could not understand. He spoke English but his accent was so thick we struggled to understand him. This was true for over 8 people in our group!

When we arrived at the ticket agency to redeem our viator voucher, they did not have tickets for us. We had a booking number and all the emails viator sent us, but they would not issue us tickets because they didn’t have our reservation on their end of the system. This was our last day in Barcelona and we were headed to the airport right after the tour time we scheduled so that didn’t leave us many options. So we had to wait around and hope someone else didn’t show up for the tour. It was stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend anyone booking through boat or in the future. We traveled from the US to Spain and will likely not be able to come back.
