We were at the assigned meeting spot on time. No one showed. Attempts to contact them through Viator were unsuccessful. They replied nearly an hour after the tour was scheduled to start with a number that does not connect to a human. Needless to say, we never ended up going on the tour and were never contacted by anyone who remedied the situation. Awaiting a refund now.

Just excellent!!! Our tour guide Anna and driver Blanco gave us a wonderful experience. Anna was so informative and excited to share this tour with us. She assisted in getting into the Basilica early to see the Black Madonna early which gave us more time to explore the area. If I could give more the 5 stars I would. So glad we went o this tour.

What an incredible tour, such interesting history, more than 1000 years! Our tour guide Miriana was so knowledgeable about the history and shared many stories and legends during the tour. It was a great experience!

Well worth the trip, however the walk to St Michael’s Cross is uphill and quite strenuous. Our guide Valeria was excellent, as was our driver.

It is not a cog train, just a normal train, too short a ride after long bus ride . Too much free time. Tour could have been shorter

You may be wondering if you want to "give up" a day of your vacation to go on this all day excursion. The answer is absolutely, yes! Monserrat is a unique and lovely place whose history is rich! Ride the funicular to the top for beautiful views, see the Black Madonna! You'll be glad you did.
