What are people saying about Mycenae

Absolutely loved our trip
Stopping at the Corinth canal was a good chance to stretch our legs en route to our first stop. The ruins at Mycenae had some stunning views, and we were amazed at how big the complex at Epidaurus was. Since we were there during the off season Nafplio wasn't bustling, but we still had a great lunch at Arapakos. And of course our driver, Giorgos, was a total sweetheart. He adjusted plans a bit to help us get photos from the best locations!

Very good tour.
Katarina was a good guide providing information on the Corinth Canal, and Mycenae and Epidaurus archaeological sights, along the way to each site.  She also gave us an informative walking tour of Nafplion where we had an hour on our own.

Enjoyed this!
We really enjoyed this experience, learning about ancient Corinth, Mycenae, Epidarius, and more. Our guide was great (Notis) and seemed to know a lot about the area and the history. It was an full yet rewarding day!

Mycenae
  • Covering around 80 acres (32 hectares) and home to a population of roughly 30,000 at the height of its power, the spectacular Mycenae ruins are a must for archaeology and history buffs.
  • There’s a lot of ground to cover outdoors, so dress for the weather and choose comfortable shoes.
  • If traveling with kids, visit with a family-friendly guide who knows how to make the site engaging for everyone. The model of the ancient city located just outside the museum is helpful for younger travelers to get their bearings.
  • Some areas of the site are accessible to wheelchairs, while the museum is fully accessible.
