This was an amazing way to visit such a special place. Michael was a great guide and made the whole experience quite educational as well as philosophical (as we desired). Tying the mythology to this place is essential, in my opinion. A great experience, something I will gladly do again with every visit to the Acropolis.

We have been around the world and done so many guided history tours but this one was really different. Our Marisa was extremely learned and knowledge and such a kind human. She wen on into the depths of the history and even discussed in depths of democracy and how we see history repeating in modern world from different aspects. She also proactively guided us to pose for pics at scenic locations and honestly took better pictures with our phones than any professional photographer. This was the best history tour we took ever. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Greece. We will come back again to Athens to do the democracy history tour with this company and Marisa.

Our family had an amazing morning touring the Acropolis and Parthenon with Vicky! She was so engaging, friendly, and relatable. Vicky is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Acropolis, Parthenon, Temple of Athena Nike, etc. She breathes life into the mythology surrounding the Greek Gods so much so that you feel like you lived back in the 5th century BC with the ancient Greeks! Our young adult kids were fascinated, wide-eyed, and glued to Vicki’s stories. She has a wonderful sense of humor. She also showed us around old town Athens and took us to the most wonderful restaurant to sample traditional, classic Greek cuisine. The spinach pie was a slice of heaven! Vicky is an expert in navigating the crowds and knew exactly where to have us pose for the best photos of all we saw. I texted a few friends back in the USA that they have to travel to Athens and do this tour with Vicki.

“Mike” was a great guide! We chose the mythology tour for something a bit different and he delivered. So many tales directly linked to the locations visited so it made it all the more memorable. We would recommend this tour for both history buffs as well as Percy Jackson and EPIC fans! All the legends came to life and Mike’s personal touch was much appreciated!

It was a great tour. Our tour guide Vicky was very knowledgeable and guided us through acropolis museum and temples. Without her, we would miss some historic landmarks and events and sculptures.
I left a 5-star review with a note for future tourists. I booked a 3-hour guided tour including one hour museum. My experience was that the added one-hour acropolis museum time wasn’t enough for me. I had to go back to the museum myself again. For underground excavation museum, I had to spend another hour to know 1700 years of Athenian history and culture. It was amazing story. If anyone wanted to fully explore the acropolis museum, I would recommend spending at least 3 hour time there.

Our tour with Christina was absolutely amazing. We had a full 2 hours in the Acropolis and we added on the 1 hour Ancient Agora option. We learned so much and Christina customized our tour based on what we expressed interest in while on the tour. She knew the best spots to take pictures and guided us around the crowds and sites with such ease. Christina is very personable and highly knowledgeable about all things Ancient Athens. Highly recommend this tour.

Amazing tour with Elina — We took the Acropolis & Slopes plus Agora tour, which was 3 hours and well worth it! Elina was very informative, answered all our questions and added a lot of color and context to the entire area. Before booking, I had a difficult time determining whether a private tour would be worth it and if it was best to book a tour guide ahead (or if there were guides available at the gates — there is not!) and I can confidently say both were necessary. We got so much more out of it having Elina guide us through the sites and it was well worth the cost. We also went in the late afternoon (15:30) and the sites were slightly less crowded and the heat was cooling off. The Acropolis & Slopes was the highlight — while the Agora was great, it wasn’t a necessity and makes for a long afternoon. This tour is unique in that it starts at the Arch of Hadrian & the Temple of Zeus, so we go a little extra history beyond the Acropolis and Agora. Overall, really awesome tour with great communication from the company leading up to the tour (e.g., they helped us determine which timed entry tickets to purchase for the Acropolis & Agora — in our experience, “skip the line” tickets were not necessary, the line moves quickly once they open the gates for your time slot), highly recommend!

Worth it to skip the line, but too much fluff on the tour and not enough about the actual Parthenon. The guide went on and on about how the Greeks are “blessed and the best” but didn’t provide much information on the history of the Acropolis.
