Ancient Treasures Within 2 Hours of Athens

Mycenae is really quite fascinating as an ancient city site, like a Machu Picchu only much older and less remote. Epidaurus has the most well preserved and still functional Greek-Roman theatre in this part of the Mediterranean. The day trip did not quite give us sufficient time to explore Nafplio fully but what we saw was worth the trip. Taking this private day trip was a good option for us as we could have added flexibility on how much time to spend on each place and Yanni was far more than just a driver-guide. He was knowledgeable on the history of the sites and answered all our questions quite expertly and in excellent English. Highly recommended.

Ioannis was wonderful!!! He was so interested and passionate in teaching us the history and not just being a driver, which was perfect for me and my group. He was gracious, had water for us on all stops and was just wonderful. Highly recommend!!
