Wonderful Tour, let down at the end by the drop-off point in Athens

Wonderful tour with a super-knowledgeable guide, comfortable transport and amazing sites. Hotels and food were absolutely fine. One word of warning (which is why I knocked off a star): on the final day, we were dropped off in the centre of Athens (with our luggage) by the tour operator (Keytours), not at our drop-off hotel. We later complained to Viator, who eventually apologised and offered a compensatory payment, which was appreciated.

Great three day tour of ancient sites

Imteresting sites, museums and commentary along the way. Tours were organised at times when sites were less crowded which was a bonus.

The BEST EVER!

FANTASTIC! We rarely do tours but wanted to experience the Greek culture - Dozia Dermatidou exceeded our expectations! If I could give this tour a 10 it still would not really express how impressive her knowledge and passion is!! Everything was extraordinary, all details were carefully done, our comfort was important to her and the driver (Jon - bus driver extraordinaire!!!), the places we visited and stayed at were exceptional…We HIGHLY recommend this tour hands down! And to add to how exceptional this tour company is, our transfer to another bus in Delphi with Irene Koumpoura and driver Vaggelis was as superior as well! We felt very taken care of and had a wonderful time! A MUST do in Greece!!

Enjoyable Tour

Our trip with Sophia was very good. She was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Would have been helpful to have maps of the larger areas we visited to navigate quickly, though. The tourist class hotels were just ok. Wouldn’t attempt this itinerary on our own. Overall, glad we chose this tour. Our group was husband, wife and 23 year-old daughter. To see everything, you should be in good physical condition. But if not, you can see most areas. May was excellent time of year temperature-wise, but ran into a lot of local school groups.

Anna our guide was very knowledgeable and a great teacher! The journey took us through beautiful countryside, villages and attractions. The classical sites are well worth the guided tour to get full benefit. Start with the meuseum of archeology to get the background. Food at taverns and hotels were great. Glad i did the tour.

Mala experiencia en tour de 3 días

Lugares increíbles. Buen hotel 4* en Olimpia. Cena pésima en hotel 4* de Delphos, hotel Apolonio. Sin opciones de menú, arroz con pollo únicamente, entrada y plato principal los sirvieron en el mismo plato. Cuando me quejé en el hotel me dijeron que le reclame a Viator. El tercer día del tour es un desastre. Cómo combinan excursiones, tuvimos que cambiar de colectivo y esperar 3 horas en un restaurante en el medio de la nada. Solo se podía esperar ahí. Al regreso, Me dejaron con mi mujer que no puede caminar mucho y 2 valijas grandes a 8 cuadras del hotel. Se suponía que era en la puerta. Muy mala atención de la guia Mariana, que cuando reclamé no me dió respuestas. Nunca recibí una pedido de disculpas. Viator debe revisar lo que hace el operador de Atenas, porque los hace quedar mal. La calidad de un servicio mejora cuando se controla.
