-We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel.
-It's a small group tour, maximum of 6.
-Stopped at Lake Vougliameni, had a very nice breakfast at a local bakery, headed to cape sounio and then had lunch at a taverna.
What made this trip exceptional is having Kosta as our guide. He is such a wonderful person that made everyone in the tour feel comfortable with each other. He is very knowledgeable and highlights the facts about Greece as we go around.

Fotis is a fantastic guide - full of stories and enthusiasm. My group and I had a fantastic afternoon on this tour. Fotis is a true expert on the area and took us to some lovely places in addition to Lake Vougliameni and Sounio - including a great beach, bakery and an even better restaurant for dinner!

This was such an amazing tour! Kostas picked us up from our hotel and took us all over the Riviera! It was so cool to get to hear all about the area and Greece from a local. We also loved the snacks and the beach stop. The Temple of Poseidon was breathtaking and the dinner at the end was delicious! Kostas was so amazing and we all felt like friends by the end of the day! 100000% recommend!

This is a fantastic tour. Just go hungry. The food you will try is amazing. The dinner was so good. I over ordered (don't do that). Fotis is charming and knowledgeable and you feel like friends by end of Tour. Out of all the 10 days and multiple tours this was the best one.

Booked this tour as a Shore Excursion with pickup and drop off at the Piraeus Port. The day before the tour the tour operator contacted me and asked if he could pick us up at "Piraeus Tower". After asking the question about the distance from the cruise terminal to the Piraeus Tower the operator stated that he would just pick us up at the cruise port as we originally requested and that we would be the only two on the tour. After we got off the ship to be picked up the operator called several times and said he was unable to locate us and then said he would not be able to get through the port gate to pick us up. I decided to ask him just to cancel this tour and give us a refund. He said it would be no problem but would have to talk to his boss. After several hours with no response I contacted Viator and explained the situation to which they reviewed and shortly refunded the tour cost.

We had an amazing time with Fotis our new Greek friend! Started off the trip with yummy local pastries! The drive and swim in the Athens Riviera was relaxing! Took some stunning pictures. The Temple of Poseidon at sunset was breathtaking the entire trip was timed perfectly! Then Fotis invited us to a restaurant with very reasonable prices for absolutely delicious food and wonderful company! One of the best tours we have been on!

The drive along the Athenian Riviera was gorgeous, and we stopped for coffee and sweets in his hometown, a personal touch that made the journey feel even more authentic.
The Temple of Poseidon at sunset is undoubtedly the highlight of the tour… so magnificent in its presence with breathtaking views of the cape, the golden light of the sunset, and the incredible energy radiating from the ancient majestic columns dedicated to the God of the Sea ~ Pure Magic!
Afterward, we went to a locals restaurant for dinner and stayed well beyond the planned itinerary. It’s rare to meet a guide so devoted to making sure everyone is seen, included and cared for.

Absolutely a 5 star experience. Fotis is so knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic and the sites were amazing. We had such an incredible day with Fotis. He gave us so much history and made the tour exciting for all of us. I would recommend him for any tour!

Our driver was Fotis Georgarras. He made our group of 6(3+2+1) feel like a friends on a tour with their old friend Fotis driving. He is very knowledgeable and passionate in sharing the history of mythology and the people of Hellas. The Temple of Poseidon was the highlight of the day. Fostis is a great guide and host. Our day was exactly as described in the tour description. It included the drive along the Greek Riviera, a stop at a beautiful lake, a breakfast bakery brake, a beach stop, an additional photo stop, Sounio Temple visit, and lunch at a traditional taverna Fostis really looked after the group, providing us with a perfect combination of sightseeing and knowledge of Greek history, culture, and general information in a very entertaining way. The June 1st morning small group tour was composed of an exceptionally nice group of participants. This was one of the best tours I ever had!

Fotis was a very energetic, passionate and engaging guide who seemed to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of Greek history and mythology. The stories he shared were funny, informative and memorable. He took us to some great local spots and eateries which we wouldn’t have been able to find on our own. He also went above and beyond to provide us with some great recommendations in the area. Fotis is a phenomenal guide. This is the best viator trip we have taken. He was so knowledgeable about Greece (Hellas) and the Hellenic culture. We loved every moment! We experienced local places (for Bougatsa and lunch) and finally had some of the experiences we were searching for on our trip. It was very local and authentic, the tour guide will take you to beautiful spots only locals know and away from touristy places. He will also share stories about the history of Greece, Greek Mythology, and life in Greece, which was extremely entertaining and informative. He was also very friendly and positive. The atmosphere of the tour was very nice even though the other guests were initially strangers. The tour also introduced us to very nice Greek snacks and drinks that we didn't know existed.
We had an issue with Labor Day and the tour was easily rearranged and extremely flexible, so I recommend telling the guide if you have any preference regarding date and time.
In general, it was worth booking the tour if you want to experience authentic local Greek life and have an overview of Greek people. It made us fall in love with Greece even more and we'll definitely visit this country again, and hopefully will have a chance to book with this tour guide again!!

This is a great tour to see the Athenian Riviera. Fortis the tour guild was extremely knowledgeable on the history of Greece. He was so very kind and accommodating. The group was hungry after the temple visit so he took us to a wonderful restaurant where we could have dinner and it was very resonable. I made many friend on this tour including Fortis. I highly recommend it.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Athens. The tour operator Fotis was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining throughout our trip. We got to see the real Greek towns outside Athens. The scenic drive to the Poseiden Temple was beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour for everyone who would like to see Greece. Swimming in the sea was exhilarating.

Our family decided to take a chance with a local tour guide in Athens to visit the Temple of Poseidon and couldn't have been happier. Fotis picked us up directly at our hotel and, along with a few others, began our excursion. Our day was exceptional as Fotis made the 1.5-hour drive out of Athens full of laughs, mythology, and visits to a few of his favourite local hotspots. I would not hesitate to recommend Fotis to anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable and easy-going guide. Looking forward to meeting him again when we're back in Athens!

Wow. If i could give this experience more than 5 stars I would. And this is all because of Fotis. He is an incredible guide and human being. He was warm and caring and made sure everyone had everything they needed at all times.
He was very engaging and taught us so much about Athens and its history, as well as Greece, ancient Greece, and Greek mythology.
We made a few stops on our way to the temple of Poseidon. He showed the best spot for bougatsa & coffee, and brought us to a beach where locals go to swim (with a breathtaking view). He gave us some freetime so that we could enjoy ourselves.
The fact that we were a smaller group really enhanced the experience, totally worth the price!! Fotis really brought the group together and made it feel like we had known each other for years!
The main event: the sunset at Poseidon's temple was simply breathtaking. He brought us early enough so that we could walk around before settling down to watch the temple turn orange as the sun was setting.

Fotis was the best! Funny, knowledgeable, and engaging, he’s like an old friend who shows you around his home town. The best guide I’d ever had!
The group was Fotis and six guests. We left Athens around 3:30pm, did a quick stop to see Lake Vouliagmeni, then a break for cafe freddo and bougatsa, followed by a swim in the Aegean Sea at a secluded beach, and finally the visit to Temple of Poseidon. Some online reviewers commented on how you don’t need much time at the Temple, but waiting to see the sunset was magical. Fotis had stories to tell at every stop which made every stop very entertaining. The frequent stops also made the trip feel like not much of a drive. On the way back, we stopped by an incredible taverna that Fotis recommended to complete the perfect half day trip. We were back in Athens before 11pm.
Would highly recommend this trip with the best guide! Thank you Fotis for making our trip to Athens so wonderful!
