Our best day in Amsterdam!! My young adult kids and I had a fabulous day with Steve!! He was an excellent guide and I highly recommend him! He knew how to read his audience and adjusted the day accordingly. He made history come alive through his story telling and incredible knowledge. He navigated the busy museums with ease and each piece of art we viewed, he set up the next part of the artists life story.

Loved that Steve was on time. He had a meeting sign which was helpful. We went straight into the museums without waiting in line. Steve took the time to explain about the life of the different artists that we were interested in. The tour of Amsterdam was very informative. He was not only knowledgeable but also personable. We would highly recommend him as a tour guide.

A great tour!

Our guide was a veteran and extremely knowledgeable about the art in the two museums. We skipped the line and saw all of the high points in both museums separated by a lunch break. We had already had a walking tour at the beginning of our week in Amsterdam, so we stayed until closing at the museum, rather than walking in the rain.

Great tour for checking things off your bucket list

Our guide Steve was very knowledgable about history and art. He was kind and patient with my 8 & 10 year olds and customized the experience to keep them engaged. He went out of his way to help us meet our goals for the day of getting an overview of the city and the two museums. Highly recommend this tour if you (or your littles) have a limited attention span and just want to see the highlights and come back for more another time. Myself, I would spend many more hours, but I knew my kids would not last. He enabled us to really understand a few pieces of art in each museum as well as engaging information about certain artists and time periods of art.

Excellent tour of the city and it’s top museums

We all really enjoyed our walking tour and guided museum tour with Steve. He showed us parts of Amsterdam we probably would never have found and explained a lot of the long history and interesting stories of the city. Touring the museums with him was also excellent as he knew where to go to see the best of them and had lots of background knowledge about the artists and the pieces. Would definitely recommend it!
