Diederik was our host this evening in the best quaint wine shop. The wine tasting room is in a hidden area and was very cool.
He had so much knowledge and was truly passionate about his craft. We had a great afternoon. There was only 4 of us over all, it was very personal and relaxed. The tasting went on for a couple hours and it was a very lovely afternoon out of the snow.
Wines were great, would recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at the Dutch Wine Tasting. The selection of wines was excellent, and the atmosphere was welcoming, relaxed, and enjoyable. What truly made the experience stand out was our host, Michael. He was exceptional, knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about wine. Great tour. Ramzy was the best! He was very knowledgeable and flexible with our requests. Comfortable accommodations too!

We had a wonderful experience at our tasting of Dutch wines. Great atmosphere and beautiful tasting room. We had the charcuterie board and appreciated the suggested pairings with the wines. The wines were good quality, very knowledgeable about Dutch wines overall. Highly recommend.

Diederik was our guide and he was fantastic. He was juggling between us and a group of five in the room so sometimes the time between tastings was a bit slow, but honestly it was relazing and it was the last thing we had planned that day so we didn't mind.
This is our introductoin into Dutch wines as we were (and still largely are) unfamiliar. But not only did we get to try and learn to understand the five wines we were tasting, but we learned more about the wine production process in the Netherlands and what regions are responsible for which wines. They use a lot of steel, which in interesting, though we also had some that was blended with more "traditional" barrel aged wine. Diederik walked us through the pairings as well, advising us what to eat with which wine, which significantly improved the experience. This was educationl, fun, tasty, and relaxing. Highly recommend.

Wines are good, staff is VERY knowledgeable. Only downside is that many of the bottles of wine that get tasted aren't available for purchase, at the experience or even local wine shops

Hello! Thank you for the kind review, we are very happy that you enjoyed the wines and the tasting. We understand that you would have liked to be able to bring some of the wines you tried. Usually this is definitely an option but since we recently moved and don’t have the shop ready we could only store very small quantities. In a few weeks the shop will be open and then all wines will be available after the tastings. Hopefully you will be able to visit us some time in the future and we can give you the full 5 star experience 🌟.

This wine-tasting is perfect for those who want to enjoy some great Dutch wine while learning new things about wine and the wine-making process. D was my “guide” and he did a fantastic job explaining everything thoroughly and giving me enough time to enjoy the wine and the charcuterie board. My only regret is that I didn’t have a checked bag so I couldn’t take any of the wine home with me this time. But I will be back!

Our host was incredibly knowledgeable about different wines from all over the world, but introduced us to the suprisingly great vintages from The Netherlands. With generous pours, he spent lots of time walking us through the history and other stories surrounding his selections. And all hidden within a cookie shop! A very fun experience for any wine lover.

Excellent wine tasting experience with Diederik! The cheese was also excellent. The Dutch wines were delicious and we night several bottles. We enjoyed the history of each wine. Diederik was patient with our three year old, who had just woken up, and who kept asking for more grapes! He also gave us recommendations, such as Wildeman for craft beer. Excellent experience. Hidden wine cellar with tables under a bakery. Wine’s were paired nicely with cheese, bread, and sausage. Dietrick was knowledgeable and friendly.

Jerom, our wine expert, really knew his stuff. He made the winetasting super fun and informative. The charcuterie he picked out was spot-on too, making each wine taste even better. It was a chilled-out, enjoyable experience that left us feeling like we learned something new about wine.

Rose is amazing!
We had a very personal experience with an introduction to Dutch wine! It was really great learning from her as we had no clue there was wine culture in the Netherlands.
We got to try our very first Orange wine as well.

AMAZING! One of the best experiences on my trip. Diederik is so knowledgeable about the wines that you don’t just taste them but you experience them. Also when paired with the charcuterie it just makes for a great time. I will definitely do this again next time I’m in Amsterdam.

This was a great experience and the host Dedrick (spelling) was wonderful. Would absolutely go back and do it again! It does take 1 1/2 to 2 hours so be sure you have time.

Do it folks. A hidden gem. Interesting wines made even better by an outstanding host. A very relaxed way to spend a few hours in the city, central but away from the hustle and bustle. Our wines were paired with an artisan charcuterie board - all delicious. This isn’t a big corporate vanilla experience- this is warm, personal, educational and fun. D was a brilliant host. Very nice wine tasting with 100% local wines. Amazing cheese and charcuterie board. Very generous size charcuterie board for one person! The host was extremely knowledgeable, royal wine tasting at $65 US with 6 wines,1 sparkling white, 1 still white, 1 orange, 1 red, 1 fortified red! I think the pours could have been a bit bigger for the upgraded tasting price but I enjoyed it and would recommend it! Free postcard and wine tasting guide.
