We will meet at Oosterdoksstraat, this is just east from Amsterdam Central Station. Coming out of the city side of the station walk to the left (east). Go over a canal, pass giant floating Chinese boat (Sea Palace), and go to the left at the 'Bibliotheek' (the library).

it was a great way to get out of the city and see some of the countryside. It was neat to see some of the small towns and know what they were all about. We enjoyed tasting the cheese and seeing how clogs were made.

Wonderful way to see countryside, our guide Hu was AWESOME, gave plenty of info but didn’t over saturate us. Bikes were great, e-assist, that said you should be comfortable on a bike and in decent shape to keep up. Bring layers, can get windy, pop up rain showers too. Fun to see clog & cheese shop.

Approximately a four hour tour, mostly spent on bike riding, with stops at a few points of interest. Mike, the tour guide, was outstanding and made sure everyone was taken care of. The clogs and cheese stop was fun and entertaining. Waited scenery. Highly recommended.

This was a fantastic tour! It was our favorite excursion on our trip. Our guide, Rinse, was great and knowledgeable! He took great care of us. We saw beautiful sights, the bikes were easy to ride, and the terrain wasn’t too difficult. I’d highly recommend this tour.

This was the best activity in three weeks in Europe. The scenery was amazing and so glad to quickly get away from the crowds in town in Amsterdam. The e-bikes were in great shape and we were given helmets which we wanted as used to using at home.
Our guide, Simon, was from Britain but had lived in Amsterdam for 20 years and was informed and fun and had a great sense of humor. He even took pics along the way and shared with us. Loved all the stops and cheese tasting was fun too. Super windy that day but the e-bikes made it easy. Cannot recommend Simon and this trip more.

Simon was our tour guide and he was fantastic. You take a short ride from the departure point, take a pedestrian and bike ferrry, and then, after 5 minutes, you are into the beautiful countryside. The bike really makes this as easy or challenging as you would like, with Simon making suggestions along the way and stopping at numerous sites to give you some interesting history and facts about Amsterdam and the Netherlands. The cheese tasting was great - I liked all of them (it's cheese, c'mon) and the brothers that run the cheese and clog shop were hilarious and fantastic. We got some "traditional Netherlands weather" with rain coming and going in 10 minute spurts, but I didn't mind. They provide ponchos if you would like, but recommend just coming prepared and looking at the forecast ahead of time. We ran a little long so don't plan something RIGHT after, but that's generally a good idea for anything. Highly recommend participating in this activity, as it's a way for you to see part of Amsterdam similar to locals (though they generally look down on helmets, electric bikes, and road rules :P).

Christian the tour host was superb. Helpful, informative and supportive to those of us never having riden an e bike before. A great cycle getting out of the central area of Amsterdam to experience the countryside with a few stops on route to take in the local culture and sights.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour! The forecast was sunny with a high of 60, I had layers on but no hat or gloves and regretted it within the first five minutes. Dress warmer than you think necessary, it’s windy. . Christian was a great guide, gave us detailed instructions on the route we were taking and warnings about riding etiquette. We had a wonderful day away from the city among the canals and livestock with their young. The e-bikes made the mileage easy. I would hesitate to bring a child younger than 12 if they are not used to city/road riding. A great experience!

Hard to choose one of our top favorite things we did in our few days in Amsterdam and this was on the top! The Bike ride to the countryside was breathtaking and Gus was the best tour guide giving us just the right amount of history and also letting us enjoy the small towns, views, and nature! The stop at the cheese and clog store was amazing! Fun, and delicious! Would recommend over and over!

Best bike tour!
Guide was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Bikes were in great condition and so easy to ride even for someone who’d never ridden an electric bike before. The countryside was fabulous and teeming with wildlife - we saw countless herons, a couple of hares, a spoonbill and a kestrel amongst the usual array of swans and waterfowl. The villages we rode through were very picturesque- would totally recommend this tour.

My wife and I really enjoyed the afternoon ride. Gives you a feeling of the daily routine for some locals. Weather was sunny with a bit of a breeze. The E-bikes assist and do there part so no need to strain yourself. Cheese was amazing. Our guide Rinsor shared along the way history and lore. Was a highlight of your trip.

The Amsterdam countryside is beautiful…green fields, lots of cows, some sheep and goats. We saw one traditional windmill and two current windmills. Our guide, Rissa, was informative at each of our stops, giving us the historical and current stories. She set a good pace and was very aware of our needs. If some of us got behind she stopped the group for all to catch up. The treat of a stroopwaffel was thoughtful. It is a long bike ride but well worth the effort. I would do it again!

This was outstanding! The countryside was beautiful and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable- I didn’t expect a historian with his credentials to lead the tour! He gave great info, but also let us really soak up the beauty of the region. The e-bikes were simple to use and made the 4 hours easy. This was a surprising highlight of a 9-day trip to Netherlands/ Switzerland. Highly recommend (14 yo loved it, too!).

My 20-year-old daughter and I just returned from a week in Amsterdam. The bike tour was one of my favorite activities! We started in the northern part of the city, but then went far out into the countryside, rode thru some little fishing villages, and visited a cheese factory. The path is very flat and very easy, although she wanted to try e-bikes and they were easy to use. you could do this with a regular bike quite easily with moderate fitness level. It’s fantastic way to see the surrounding area and our tour guide was wonderful.
