Our Blue Tile workshop was so much fun. We had a group of all different ages and abilities and no matter the talent the tiles came out beautifully. Our instructor, Belinda, was fun, informative and very helpful! Getting to do an activity that allows you to leave with a meaningful souvenir is the best! Our family high recommends this workshop!

My 12 year old daughter loves crafts so this was the perfect activity for us. The ladies who run the class were really great and helpful. 90 minutes to do this kind of activity for the price is exceptional value especially when you are left with the tile keepsake as a souvenir. I highly recommend taking this class!

This experience was a lot of fun. The two people running it were very engaging. Instructions were detailed but simple enough for someone who's never done any painting. Would definitely recommend.

It is a fun experience. Enjoy it and don't be very critical about the outcome of your tile. It isn't easy but produces a great souvenir. .

It is so much fun! The guides are very helpful. Erma and the other guides are always eager to answer any questions. They also shared the origin of Delft painting. I got too excited and chose a complicated drawing. I would recommend choosing an easier pattern for beginners.

    Fun and Relaxing

Great experience! Learned about the history of tile in the Netherlands. Tile art was really fun and they made it easy by offering a wide variety of stencils to choose from. All with different levels of complexity

Informative, fun, and a creative experience to connect with culture in a new place and you get to take home a souvenir you made yourself that is much more personal than what you can buy in a shop. The instructors were kind, encouraging, and made this activity accessible to everyone.

The Dutch Tile making activity was excellent for so many reasons. Our sisters and I enjoyed the experience of creating something we didn’t feel we could do. Our teacher was very encouraging and helpful. She was patient and kind

It’s was a really fun experience. I would do this again. I wish there was maybe 15-30 minutes more because I felt a bit rushed at the end. This made a great souvenir for my daughter and I.

Fun but the tiles need to be baked

    Julie_T, May 2026
First, your tiles probably won’t turn out like the pics unless you’re a pro painter. There’s a ton of design choices but only one or two from our table looked really good— most of ours looked pretty elementary lol. But the experience is still fun. Bigger issues is that the layout of the studio makes it kind of hard to see the speaker— but they will move around the room to repeat themselves and assist you. The tiles need to be baked to make the blue paint stay and that’s tricky if you’re traveling like us. So some of our paint has scratched off. But they do give you packing materials to keep the tiles safe till you get home.

A very well organised workshop. The task seemed daunting to begin with but it was broken down into steps and the lady who was running it made it really clear what to do, and how to fix mistakes! The time flew by. Would recommend the workshop!

    Loved the class with Martina

Very non stressful. Really no skill required. Just attention and listening to the instructions. We also developed good camaraderie in the group.

We decide to try the tile...

    Tara_O, May 2026
We decide to try the tile painting activity for something different and to add a creative break into our trip. I had also read reviews that it was good for kids. Overall I think the teacher and staff were very well organized and did a great job explaining the craft and helping. While they made it as easy as possible by providing “stencils” for the pictures, it was still a bit difficult for my 11 year old to finish on time even though she chose a simple design and she wasn’t as excited about/ proud of her takeaway as I had hoped. I’d recommend for anyone who has an art background or at least a steady hand or ability to appreciate one’s shortcoming while trying something new! It was definitely the most unique part of our trip!
