Make sure you get there early so you can get window seats for the best pictures. The boat has clear windows

Lovely experience. The man leading it was very friendly and quirky.
Cafe was lovely too. Nice waiting area before we set sail. Shame there was no food available for purchase except pringles.
I genuinely thought it would have sailed past the Anne Frank building but alas it did not.

Love tours was the guide

One can see the things which normally not everyone is aware of. Leaning buildings had been built as per Government regulations and not that they are leaning on their own due to vintage.

It was a relaxing and enjoyable cruise. There's nothing like having a canal cruise in beautiful Amsterdam to see the house boats, tourist spots and beautiful architecture that is unique to this city. Don't leave Amsterdam without having a canal cruise.

Although the lights on the bridges look pretty you can't actually see much of the architecture because it is dark. It appeared that to get the audio commentary you had to bring your own plug-ins (although several languages were available). Maybe they should mention this when booking. I'd done two canal boat trips in the past in daylight (hence booking an evening cruise) but for a first timer you wouldn't get too much flavour of the canals.

Too crowded. All seats were full with people sitting in the back and three to a seat. Also, audio did not work for the first 15 minutes.

Started 30 minutes. We sat there sweating while the captain had a smoke. It seemed like they were trying to recruit people off the street to make sure the boat was completely full.

I wasn't able to add any pictures because it is a covered boat so if you want to take pictures I suggest a boat without a top. There is no food on this tour boat and it does not go by all the locations that it says. Did not go by the Ann Frank House. I went on the 8:30 tour that was on time and my headphones worked. Captain was great but it was very overcrowded. I would have liked space to move and take pictures. Overall it was a nice short trip in the canal and I'm glad I did it but I would recommend a better option, maybe something more expensive that would be worth it.

Our headphones would not plug in because the entry hole is plugged up with something after bringing to the attention of the guide numerous times he was not concerned . So we missed all the communication via headset . Very disappointed!

This is very boring trip. A live guide with some arrangement for snacks could be better. Nothing much special with evening lighting in canal area. You can better enjoy if you travel in road. If you want, better do it in a day cruise during winter.

The Lovers brand of canal tour meant a pre recorded commentary which was out of date to the ever evolving city - a human tour guide would be much better especially as our tour was at dusk so you couldn't necessarily see the things mentioned on the tape. No assistance from the driver who was very much 'going through the motions'. Would suggest a tour, which I would thoroughly recommend may be better with more human interaction.

Such a fun experience! Our captain Alex was very entertaining and knowledgeable. We learnt about the history of the cannals and we got new ideas of places to see the next day. Would recommend!

We were disappointed with our tour - the audio guide was at times vague and repeated several facts. There was a general lack of information which decreased the value of the tour for us. Earphones for the audioguide did not always work. There was minimal interaction from the tour leader who still asked for a tip at the end. There are better boat tours available.

It was a lovely trip down the canals on a hot day with a great breeze. Information was interesting and learnt new things.
Only criticism is that it was only 50 minutes and we were told it would be an hour
