From start to finish everything was very good From the bus picking us up to the journey up to Fatima, From the driver to our tour guide and our journey back everything went like clock work, with lots of interesting information along the way, we would highly recommend this trip with no worries. You gave me the wrong pickup location, and the bus driver blamed me saying he was waiting 10 minutes for me even tho I was waiting 30 minutes for him I just followed the link you gave me but besides that bump in the road, fatmia was lovely, very nice. RATING I would give for my experience for the day a solid 7 out of 10 just a let down over wrong pickup location thank you, conor.

Amazing experience! One of the only tours to Fátima from the Algarve region. Got picked up (family of 4) from our hotel in Albufeira at around 6.30am and transferred to a big coach where we went all the way to Fátima. Spent around 3-4 hours there saw the sanctuary and the village where the shepherds had the apparitions

Fatima Experience

Our guide was excellent. He explained Portugal well as we rode. My husband wanted to experience Fatima, and it was all that he hoped it would be. We're glad we could visit the village where the children lived. We now have a picture of our son standing in the same spot as Lucia when she was photographed. In order to take all of it in I think we would need to take the tour again. Finally, our appreciation to the bus drivers. We especially want to thank them for keeping us safe and delivering us right to our hotel on the return journey. It was a long day and the kindness of our last driver will be remembered.

A Long But Worthwhile Pilgrimage

Comfortable, air conditioned coach arrived spot on the pick up time at 06:15. Picked everyone else up around Albufeira and headed off towards Fatima. Stopped at a service station after 90 minutes for a comfort break. Then another 2 hours on the road before we reached a statue factory. Spent about 30 minutes in the shop and had a raffle for a statue. Then we headed to the shrine, arriving just as Mass started. About 90 minutes free time. Next stop was the village where the shepherd's grew up to see their homes. The reverse journey was the same as the way out with a comfort break. Great driving by Walter, though he did like to chat with guide. Carlos the guide was very informative in both English and Portuguese. Overall a good trip, though very tiring and really could have got to the shrine in better time for mass.

We waited at the pickup spot 10 minutes before the pickup time and no one came. After about 30 minutes after the pick up time I contacted their office. Per the operator, the driver claimed that he waited at the pickup spot for us and then left when no one came. That was an absolute lie. We are disappointed in this service, we were really excited to explore Fatima. We will never book with this company again.

We went to Fatima from Albufeira at the end of October. Our pick up point was close to hotel and easy to find. Booking trip with viator was easy online and we only booked it a day before going. Trip guide Carlos shared his knowledge in very interesting way and 4h journey each way was not that difficult to manage. We attended Mass in Apparition Chapel and had some free time to roam. Then we went to see houses of Little Shepards. I would recommend it! Tip- get warmer/ waterproof clothing as weather in North Portugal is not as good as in Algrave.

A Marvellous Trip to Fatima’s Shrine !

My Feedback will be in 3 parts: 1: Guide Mr. João Carlos & Driver Antonio - were Brilliant. João Carlos Was very well informed and kept informing us about the various Cash Crops along the way , like Top Class Red Wine ( No: 1, 3 & 4 in the World) , Top Class Olive Oil, Rice and the Cork. We now are better informed about Portugal. He was very Informative and Very Interesting . As for our Driver Antonio,he was Very Polite , Careful and Cautious. 2: The Glorious Shrine of Fatima: João-Briefed us in detail about Where to go , What to do , When to return so as to Pick up the Coach . This helped us to spend our Visit Time at Fatima's Shrine and it’s Large Buildings, more Positively and Made the Best use of Time. 3: Then we Visited the Actual Village Of Fatima and the Village where the Children & their Families Lived. Conclusion:- As I have stated above , Our Day Trip to Fatima’s Shrine was Marvellous, due to Our Well informed Guide Joao Carlos and the Careful Driver Antonio. Though the Total distance was 800 Km , we Enjoyed theTrip & Will Highly Recommended it to everyone . Once again Viator has always been our First Choice, as we used them in other locations like , KL , Bangkok, Singapore Etc . So we will use Viator , over again . Thank You 🙏
