Really nice 6 hours - first 2 spent going down the coast to Benagil, then transfer to the beach at Portal and have a bbq with chicken, salad, sausage, chips and unlimited drinks - red and white, sangria, ... The food was good and the cruise confortable. Nitpicks: the transfer to/from the beach was tricky, walking through ankle deep water, a bit cold after dark; the sand was definitely cold and wet after dark. But these are small details, most was excellent. Would recommend!

terrible. had to get from big boat to little one and then onto beach. very scary with big waves. man literally threw us on boat. went over on my ankle and been at hospital all night as it is broken. not a safe trip

I feel quite mislead as it is only an open bar at the beach and not during the boat trip. Also the beach was quite far away which means the time on the beach is a lot less. Having been on this trip previously where it was a free bar on the boat and the beach was closer, this is what we had expected again. However the beach we went to was a public beach and much further away. Customers should be made aware beforehand that the location of the beach can change.

Went on this boat 2 years ago and loved it. Booked again . We have just got on the boat and been told it’s not an open bar and we have to pay! This was not the Case last time. We only get drinks on the Beach with lunch. This boat trip is a lot of money so not to have the bar included as it was before and to charge the same it’s terrible. Completely misleading and this has ruined our trip!

The journey on the boat to the beach was very long and a bit dry and not entertaining. Also, drinks aren’t covered on the boat for the price. So you’re out in the sun on a boat for over 2 hours I think it’s a tactic to make more money from the patrons. The entertainment on the beach was very limited and not as colorful and exciting as advertised. My bbq chicken was raw and uncooked! I had to throw up but the other food was okay. There are no toilets on the beach and only one working toilet with no tissue. When I told the host about the tissue he just shrugged his shoulders in a feeling bathroom at that. After the long boat journey you then have to take another small boat to get to the beach. They only had one boat transporting ppl so he had to make over 7-10 trips to get everyone off the boat to the beach and same process back. That was long and exhausting after waiting so long to get to the destination.

This sunset cruise is a little over 7 hours. We left at 6:00 and returned at 1:15. The food was not great and served like warm. The music on the way back was way too loud - esp since the ride back was about 2 hours. I couldn’t wait to get off the boat!

Great trip with friends along the coastline. The best part was backing into the caves! Great Captain! The trip is maybe an hour too long but well worth it. If you have friends visiting it is the perfect trip.

Just the most incredible experience from the minute we boarded. So so good. Staff amazing and friendly, bbq quality, entertainment spot on boat clean and lots of space.

The beach looked beautiful. Chinese lanterns that were collected at the end of the night. The DJs lights lit up the rocks. The food was amazing, the boat trips were lively. Be prepared for a bit of drunkeness but they were grand. The entertainment was great. If you rent a towel there's no way yo give it back that night so you have to return to get yoir deposit back!

The concept of taking you to the caves, then to a beach, then a dinner, fire show and DJ was great. BUT, the food was bad. The pastries were stale. They used cheap food and drinks. They were serving the food on your plates and you could tell there would be no seconds or no additional pieces because the food was limited. People got one small piece of watermelon each. Fire show was only for 10-15 mins.

Courteous and organised crew on board and on land. Great way to see the coastline.
Food at the barbecue was great, as were the drinks. We didn't expect the cabaret which was a display by a fire dancer, very atmospheric as the darkness fell.
All in all a highlight of our holiday.

The scenery was exquisite.
However, the transfer by small boats to the beach didn’t seem safe. The food was mediocre.

The boat ride out to the caves was rougher than we expected and the top deck area getting to the bar from the stairs had no hand holds anywhere. The amount of salt spray over the bow because of the boat speed made it prohibitive to take photos until the boat stopped. No information about taking additional towels etc. and they didn’t provide enough for everyone to sit on at the beach. In fact we assumed there would be tables and chairs setup on the beach for the bbq but it was sit on a towel/sand and eat on a tray on your lap.
Entertainment on the beach was excellent (sax player and a fire dancer). Food was good and lots of drink at the open bar. Some folks didn’t know that spirits would cost extra. Beer, wine and soda all free and flowing though.
Website description needs to be better to give a true indication of what to expect.
All in all it was good value for money. Staff were helpful when approached but seemed to each have lots of jobs and tasks. A guest had fallen down moving through the cabin and the member of staff left her as he had to go deal with taking in bumpers and ropes etc. They were very attentive though getting this lady to and from the catamaran/beach bbq and in and out of the smaller tender used. Quite a few guests seemed to be quite surprised about the removal of footware and getting somewhat wet doing that also.
