Had a lovely sunset trip (later afternoon 3.30 start ending with sunset). I originally booked the earlier trip but there weren't enough people going so I was offered the later version. Going later meant I skipped the swim I'd thought about trying in the waterfall pool as it was in the shade and the sun was already starting to go downwards.
But it was really nice to get inland to see a bit more of the area and Pedro was a great guide.
Highlights- seeing beautiful countryside, baby goats and having a quick paddle in the waterfall (think I'd have needed beach shoes or flip flops personally to get in further as the rocks at the edge were a bit hard on the feet).

This was an absolutely fantastic tour. Pedro is incredibly knowledgeable, and we really enjoyed learning about the history, it made the experience even more meaningful. We were picked up conveniently from Albufeira Bus Station, which made everything easy from the start.
One of my highlights was the ride to the mill, the views were absolutely spectacular! I enjoyed every moment of this tour. The trip to the farm was another standout, as we continued learning so much along the way.

Very good. Driver did the best possible considering the terrible weather conditions. Had fun on off road sections & saw as many sites as were available. Rain prevented access to some attractions. Good day out over all

We were very lucky to book this Jeep Safari on the same day, and the whole process was incredibly easy and straightforward online. Our guide, Adrian, was in touch straight away. Pick-up was arranged from a hotel in Albufeira, which we reached easily and very cheaply by Uber from where we were staying.
The tour itself was excellent and very well paced. We made plenty of stops, and Adrian was sharing lots of interesting information and local insights. In just a half-day trip we managed to see and experience so much — including a local farm, the highest viewpoint in the area, a traditional village, a waterfall, orange groves and countryside landscapes, as well as Paderne Castle, one of the seven castles featured on the Portuguese flag. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. A really enjoyable and well-rounded experience — we would happily recommend this tour and are sure most people would be very pleased with it.

It's a fantastic trip worth visiting the oldest Village in Albufeira and the trip to Waterfall and organic food farm was very educational.
We as a group would definitely do it again when we visit Albufeira in the near future.

Will was an absolute DELIGHT. He was so kind & knowledgeable, and we loved chatting with him! He was so patient while my kids asked him a million questions and told him a million stories! The tour itself was also incredible; so many unique spots to visit that are off the beaten path! But Will was definitely the highlight of our time!

We had a wonderful half day jeep safari, 2 adults and our 2 young adult children, our guide was Will and he was fantastic, very informative, funny smiley and bubbly he made the trip extra special…we visited an organic farm with animals honey and a herb garden, stroked a horse fed the goats and saw lots of birds freely roaming around, then we stopped for a comfort break and enjoyed a wonderful sweet treat at a lovely cafe in a pretty village…then we visited a water way park , the water wasn’t present as it was not the right time of year but was still great to see and will showed us on his phone what it looked like when it was full, we then went off to a magical waterfall , there are 174 steps to descend to the waterfall which you didn’t have to if you wasn’t able, me and the kids did but my husband has bad knees so decided to stay up and look at the wonderful views, the waterfall was beautiful My children had a swim here, then we went off road pretty bumpy but great fun and came to a swing large enough for 2 that is high up and you feel like you’re on top of the world, great photo opportunities here but also at all the other locations, again Will told us so much about the places and we had a great time, we went in early December and would recommend bringing a jumper and maybe a rain Mac…but it didn’t hinder the experience it’s so worth the money we loved it a lot!

This was a great tour and highly recomend. Our tour guide Will spoke excellent english, was very knowledgeable about the history and was just great to chat to in general. There was no pressure on the tour and the schedule was very relaxed and could spend as much or as little time at each spot. The group size is small enough and great to visit with the other folks in the group. Excellent job and would certainly recommend this tour.

It can be quite windy in the back so a fleece and sunglasses is a good idea, water was provided which was useful.

Will was absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable. He made the trip so fun even though we had thunder storms. He kept us safe and dry 😊 we stopped at a farm with local teas,honey etc and then at a wonderful little cafe in Alte.
We also met 2 lovely people on the same trip who were from Ireland and California.
And Bingo enjoyed the journey too. 😊

Will was our very interesting, fun, and personable driver. He spoke to us about the various types of trees we were seeing on our ride, stopped at a charming organic farm, a lovely coffee shop, and offered us a choice between a scenic panaramic view overlook at about 1650 feet up so we could view the sunset or a waterfall which was 174 steps down and 174 steps up. We chose the overlook. It had a charming double swing for photos and a lookout deck.
We highly recommend Will as a guide!

We went on 28th October, first rain of the year but we still had a great time, Will our guide was an absolute legend, he made the trip enjoyable despite the weather. The farm, the waterfall the views and the history were amazing, but the best place was the little village of Alte, and I’d highly recommend a custard tart from the pastry shop. If Will gets to see this, thanks from the car enthusiasts from Ireland.

Overall a great activity, and our guide was lovely, informative and didn’t make us feel rushed at any point. However, the trip wasn’t as the itinerary online led us to believe. No where had I seen that it could or had been changed. You can no longer visit the castle, which was disappointing and the cork reserves were missed off too. The animal park was a handful of ducks, goats, and pig and a pony. We did visit a beautiful waterfall which was worth the trip, and possibly the switch for the castle/ cork reserves, but that had 173 steps down (and back up) which was hard going and impossible for someone with limited mobility.
Overall the trip was good and going along dirt tracks stood up in the back of the safari truck dodging trees was great fun, and we definitely went to places a tourist would struggle to get to without their own vehicle.
