I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and found it to be a perfect introduction to downtown Detroit. Kashem was friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable, which made the experience both enjoyable and relaxed. He shared insightful information about the city’s history and landmarks in a way that was engaging and easy to follow, without feeling overwhelming. His customer service was outstanding, and he was also very helpful in taking photos at different stops along the way. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Detroit.

Worst tour I've ever taken. All of the reviews were for a guide named Michael -- who had received many 5 star reviews. Our guide was Hasheem - who could barely speak English and had virtually no knowledge of Detroit. There were 8 people on the tour.-- 2 left after about 20 minutes. Our group of 4 left after visiting 7 of the 10 stops. The guides was unable to answer questions -- so the group turned to AI to get our questions answered. The guide had minimal knowledge of the city and , no knowledge of the city's car, labor or architectural history. It was a complete waste of time and money. We booked the trip thru VIATOUR and they may or may not offer us a refund. If they do I will happily update this review. In the meantime, a warning to all -- DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY OR PRECIOUS TIME ON THIS TOUR.

Thank you for your feedback. I personally guided this tour and would like to clarify a few points.
Your group actively participated in the tour and stayed with me through 7 of the 10 scheduled stops. At that point, you mentioned that your group was hungry and wanted to stop for lunch, which is why you left early.
During the tour, neither you nor your group expressed any concerns about not understanding the commentary or dissatisfaction with the experience. You asked questions along the way, and I answered them as part of the tour.
Regarding the two guests you mentioned who “left after 20 minutes,” this is not accurate. They informed me that they had rescheduled their flight to an earlier time and needed to leave because of that, not because of dissatisfaction with the tour.
I have been a professional tour guide since 2011, guiding travelers from around the world. My goal is always to share Detroit’s history, architecture, labor legacy, and culture in an engaging and informative way.
