Walking around downtown Cleveland was enjoyable, but the tour itself was disappointing.
The biggest issue was hearing the guide. Despite using a speaker, he was only audible when he stopped, faced the group, and held the microphone directly in front of his mouth. Even then, noise from nearby bars, a baseball game, and traffic made it difficult to follow. With 36 people in the group, the tour felt far too crowded.
The tour was advertised as one hour, but we left after an hour and a half because it felt long and dull. It also did not follow the itinerary listed on the website and appeared to skip some stops entirely.
As other reviewers have noted, the tour focused mainly on history, and we did not enter any buildings. The cemetery was interesting to see at night, but its gates were open, so you could visit independently without a guide.
Also, keep in mind that the tour starts and ends at different locations, and it is quite a walk back to the starting point. Factor that extra walking time into your plans.
Overall, the oversized group, poor audio, and departure from the advertised itinerary made this a disappointing experience.
Great walking tour with lots of historical information. If you have an hour and want to learn some of the highlights of downtown then I highly suggest it.

I think your experience will come down to your tour guide. In this case, it was okay and the guide seemed passionate about Cleveland. What kinda killed the tour was picking very awkward locations to tell us about Cleveland history/ghosts. Many of them were way too loud, making it hard to hear what they were saying. Also, we made a stop in a graveyard (to be expected in a ghost tour), but we stood very close to a woman crying and grieving over a lost loved one, which felt very uncomfortable and rude to her when we’re relishing in a ghost story. Not the best social cues from the tour guide there.

It is all walking. I have fractured toes and ended up leaving my wheelchair behind. Even then as long as we took it slow my foot was fine. The history is amazing, Michele was our guide. She was so amazing to talk to. She has great stories to pass on to guests. It was like walking with a new friend. Such a wonderful time. If for some reason you have a wheelchair, it is possible to go on the tour. I felt better by not bringing it. My doctor said to get out and do more normal activities so this was a great idea. Not overdoing it and had a fantastic time.

During the tour there were severe thunderstorm warnings. They will continue the tour with lightening and unsafe conditions. The company doesn’t care about safety.

Loved our guide and storyteller Katara. She had a lot of history as well as great stories. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful night in Cleveland to walk. I will definitely recommend this to friends and family. We have taken other ghost tours in bigger cities than Cleveland. This one is by far the best.

Not a great experience. The guide was nice but struggled with any kind of cohesive tour. Her stories a were hard to follow and the locations she had us stand were not ideal to hear her and the speaker system was not great. We ended up leaving the tour half way through it was so poor.

It was fun but lacking proof or details to validate the stories
Tour guide filled the gap of story well but I feel like more developed stories with pictures or something would bring it better.

Very disappointing and not even close to worth the money. Tour guide was a horrible storyteller and my husband and I walked away from every stop wondering what on earth we just heard.

Much like any ghost tour, if you are new to an area and you wanna learn a little bit about the city’s history, there’s not a better way to just quickly get a feel for the city. Plus, you get to see a lot of where the nightlife and interesting buildings are right away. The guide seemed very knowledgeable and friendly.

A great history tour. The tour operators were very knowledgeable about local history. The stories were more interesting than spooky. Would have been better in the dark....I will keep this is mind when booking during summer. The operators were very friendly and answered questions. Would have liked more theatrics (costumes and such). Overall a good tour!

The tour was represented as a “ghost tour” but we did not feel that was our experience. We did get caught in a big rain storm but the ghost stories fell flat and didn’t make sense. The tour should focus on the historical aspects of downtown Cleveland with ghostly anecdotes. We were shown many historical sites and told great stories about the history of the area but the “paranormal” didn’t make much sense. The history and the details of the buildings and the cemetery were very interesting and these ghost stories could be incorporated. I would not book a “ghost tour” again but I might consider a historical tour of downtown. Finding out the A in Moses Cleaveland was dropped when the City was named for him, the stories or the buildings, Native American burial sites, statues on square were all informative. Our guide seemed to know a great deal about the history of the area and he should focus on sharing his knowledge. Both guides were very nice and we enjoyed walking the downtown area with narration.

When you could hear, be that in the busy downtown areas or the quiet cemetery, the local history and ghost stories were interesting. There was something off with my tour guide’s mic and the sound kept getting cut off whenever my guide wasn’t facing us. So if you do decide to attend this tour, hope that the sound works.
We had a great time! The witch and her minion taught us history and places of Cleveland that we never knew of.
We had a ton of fun and as locals learned a lot about the City that we didn’t know! It was a wonderful tour! Valarie was a fantastic guide as we battled the awesome Ohio winter weather. 😁👍

Been to Cleveland multiple times and thought we would give this a try. Very disappointed. Started off by being told the EMF detector that was supposed to be included, per there web site, was not. It was one of the reasons we booked so it would keep my 8 year old entertained. Showed them our booking and where it was stated and they didn't care, they just shrugged us off. Then we were Introduced to the guide, but couldn't tell you our guides name bc her accent was so thick, which also made it hard to hear/understand her stories. The stories were plain, she had a hard time getting them out and didn't seem very enthusiastic. It also felt like most of them were the same thing. We were NOT impressed and others that we spoke with in person were not impressed/happy with the tour either. We would NOT recommend this tour.

Fun time. The event was closer to 90 minutes with multiple stops at location with proposed supernatural testimony.

Loved learning a little bit of Cleveland's history. Was hard to hear on account of being right down town in the midst of a home Guardians game, but overall was good!
