Hi, Cindy!
Thank you for your 5-star review! We're so glad you enjoyed the tour and all of Austin's fascinating history. Ghost Walk Austin is designed to focus on authentic history, local legends, and reported paranormal encounters rather than jump scares, so we're happy you found it engaging. We appreciate your support and hope to see you again soon!

The ghost stories we heard on the tour were very fun and interesting to hear. I wish we got to go in more of the places though to see more. Walking from place to place didn’t really feel worth it because there wasn’t really anything to look at. It felt like we were walking to random buildings.
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Hi, Lanie!
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the ghost stories and found them fun and interesting. Our tours focus on the real history and documented hauntings behind many of Austin's historic buildings, so while some locations may appear ordinary today, each has a fascinating story connected to it. Unfortunately, access to historic buildings is limited since most are privately owned or operating businesses. We appreciate your comments and will continue looking for ways to make the experience even more engaging for future guests.

We booked our tour last minute and that made our guide late in getting to us. He made up for it with his knowledge and enthusiasm. Will was a fabulous guide. I think we all would have been willing to do the tour a second time to catch and retain the knowledge he was sharing with us. This is hands down a must do in Austin!

We had so much fun! William was an amazing storyteller and kept us engaged the entire time. He showed us pictures, gave us personal encounters along with guests encounters that really made the stories come to life. We were a small group so he was able to throw in some add-ons and extra history which was fantastic. He left me wanting to learn more afterwards which I loved. This is my third ghost tour in a city and definitely one of the best. It was a great way to spend a Friday night!
Response from Host, Apr 2026

It’s especially great to hear that the mix of visuals, personal encounters, and guest stories helped bring everything to life—and that the small group setting allowed for those extra history add-ons. That’s exactly the kind of immersive experience we aim for.
We love that the tour left you wanting to learn more afterward, and we truly appreciate you choosing us for your third ghost tour. That means a lot, especially coming from someone with experience in other cities.
