Itinerary
Cities and towns across America offer walking and bus tours to get to know their space better, but this unique Segway tour provides an entirely new perspective on the city of Atlanta.
Riding a Segway isn’t difficult, but it’s important to know how to maneuver one, especially gliding around a busy city like Atlanta. So this tour begins at the American Hotel with a brief but thorough training session to make sure everyone feels comfortable and knowledgeable about their Segway. Additionally, all passengers must weigh between 100 and 300 pounds to participate.
With the training out of the way, it’s time to hit the open road.
On this guided Segway tour around midtown Atlanta, cruise past the business district’s skyscrapers and the affluent neighborhood of Ansley Park to admire the variety of beautiful homes.
Make a stop at the Margaret Mitchell House and Museum, a historic house museum where Margaret Mitchell wrote the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, 'Gone With the Wind.' Nearby is the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and the Georgia Institute of Technology, one of the world's top technological research universities.
Roll past the Fox Theatre, a former movie palace that now serves as a performing arts venue and the restaurant district, to learn where the best spots are to eat and drink. Then see Centennial Olympic Park, home of the 1996 Summer Olympics; the Georgia Aquarium, with tens of thousands of animals and 10 million gallons of water and the World of Coca-Cola, a museum showcasing the history of the Coca-Cola Company with a number of attractions and entertainment options.
Finally, return to the downtown starting point.

It takes a little while to feel comfortable using the segway but John was very patient and an excellent teacher. Zooming around the city was fun and I enjoyed the tour.

So much fun! There were a few people in our group who were nervous about the Segway and traffic. It was wasted energy. The staff made us comfortable on the Segway with thorough hands on training before we hit the road.
The tour was informative and fun. The guide was outgoing and accommodating. Top notch experience.

Fun way to explore Atlanta, beautiful areas. Would recommend this adventure. We stayed downtown and it was nice to see the surrounding area and learn a little history as well.

Great tour guide. He made sure we could safely cross city streets on the Midtown tour. Very nice guide. Excellent locations visited: Georgia Tech, Ansley Park, Olympic Park, etc.

Great way to see the sights in and around Atlanta! The initial hands on tutorial was great to find my proverbial feet! Guide was very attentive to point out any bumps and signal directions. Would recommend to anyone new to Atlanta or segways!

Unique, Fun Way to See a Lot. Has pouch to store belongings. Entrance is next to the convenience store. Our guide, John, was great!

The segway tour of midtown Atlanta was a lot of fun and enjoyable. Our tour guide, John, was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He thoroughly reviewed the safety instructions and made sure that everyone was comfortable on riding the segway. It was the best segway tour we have experienced so far!

Lots of fun!!! The company took the time to show us how to safely use the Segways. Our tour guide - JOHN - was great!!! He was very thorough and was a wonderful guide in telling us little bits of history of what we saw as we stopped to see certain sites. He really took his time. Overall, a must do when visiting Atlanta!

First off all, I have been wanting to do this tour for many years. My nephew was visiting from Houston. Therefore we decided to jump on it.
We had a great tour guild. Jett gave about a 30 minute training session on how to ride the Segway. It seemed to be a little intimidating at first but after our training the group was very confident. We were off to sightseeing.
We rode through The World of Coke, the Georgia Aquarium and then many attractions in Midtown. Our guide, Jett, was very knowledgeable about the history of Atlanta. It was a super fun day! I highly recommend it.

This was a fun and informative experience. Our guide Mr. Jett was a wealth of knowledge about our city(Atlanta, Georgia) He taught the inexperienced drivers well and was very respectful yet personable with the entire group. I will definitely do another tour him.

Such a good experience!! My family and I were all a bit nervous having no previous Segway experience, but with good instruction were able to pick it up rather quickly. Safety demonstrations were a bit extensive but I guess better safe than sorry. Our instructor Jett was super friendly, patient, and accommodating of the many pictures we wanted to take. Could have more history/stops included, but overall, we liked the duration of the trip and the included bathroom break. Great and fun family outing for those with teenagers and young adults.

Our tour guide Jet was perfect! We did the eastside tour and our tour guide was fun, intuitive to who was struggling a bit on their Segway and kept a fun demeanor through the tour!

It’s always nice to ride segways, we did it in many cities. On this one I would suggest to add an eir piece to have commentaries during the ride. Too much concentration on safety here on Sunday with not much traffic. Would like to have more picture stops as we had only one
Lynn_T, Sep 2024
Even though I am a native of Atlanta, I learned things from the guide, Jett, I had not known before. That alone was worth the experience but getting to ride on Segways….bonus!! Jett was a great guide very upbeat, engaging and informative.

Dunno..Could never take this tour as we were struggling to find a parking spot closer to the meeting location & had informed ATL Cruzers of the delay. We checked with ATL Cruzers to see if they could wait for us but they suggested that it wasn’t possible for the group to wait but they could hopefully reschedule our booking to a different day. I followed up multiple times with various customer care executives from both Viator & ATL Cruzers to help with the rescheduling or process a refund with no luck. (Neither ATL Cruzers nor Viator were co-operative in rescheduling the tour to a different date or processing our refund of 138$ requested.) We’ve used multiple third party travel websites / tour aggregators in the past & folks have always been very accomodating and flexible with the rescheduling option or at the very least processing a refund for a tour not taken. Alas! We could never experience this with ATL Cruzers or Viator alike. I’m really disappointed & taken aback by this experience. I’m afraid to recommend this tour to others new to this city! You are better off exploring Atlanta on your own :)

The Dr. Martin Luther King park. The historical context that was provided. Our guide, Paul, was awesome ☺️.

Our trip was for my sister’s birthday. John was our tour guide. He was the best. Our trip was about 8 miles. We were new to riding a Segway but caught on very quickly with the help of our guide.

This is the first time my family and I had ever been on a segway tour and we had a blast... Loved that the Instructor was very patient with us and made sure we were properly trained before we hit our tour... The instructor not only
was funny but he did well on giving us the background of the places we visited... the world of coca cola, the Mercedes Benz stadium, the centinnel park and other there were other places... We did the 1.5 tour and it was so worth it he also took the time to take pictures of my family at the places we visited . Would highly recommend so much fun you feel free when ur on one of them
