Nice travel the best small group tour in Iceland

Nice travel in Iceland picked us up at the Harbour even at the different pier from the one we were to dock at so we didn't have to find our way there on our own. They accommodated our luggage. The tour was very informative and 11 hours in length very inclusive with great highlights of Iceland . They then dropped us off at our booked hotel in Reykjavik larger buses cannot go into the city centre. I would highly recommend Nice travel as it is small group tour.

Great option for cruisers

The directions to our pick up point were easy to follow. Our guide, Greta, picked us up on time. The sights were amazing with enough time spent at each. Greta provided great commentary and was mindful of people's mobility providing options. I want her to be my BFF.

Stunning scenery

Stunning scenery with a good amount of time at stopping points. Great guide. Eat before you get to Reynisfjara Beach if you can as there's not much choice at the expensive restaurant there. The bus seats are a little crammed, but still we enjoyed the tour a lot.

What a nice lagoon! We also did the 7 steps ritual. I wish they would have informed me more before doing the 7 steps ritual, as I skipped a step, the cold plunge. Looking back at myself I should have done the cold plunge :') If no one tells you, I will ! Do the cold plunge ;)

Great tour with Gunnar RA and driver, Olivia! Driving was smooth and safe. Gunnar provided lots of information on Icelandic history and geology. Waterfalls were the highlight and we enjoyed the geyser! The tour interact was great with enough time to see sights. Highly recommend!

Amazing Day

This is an awesome way to see and experience the geological wonders of Iceland! Our guide, Helgi, was an awesome storyteller who kept us engaged with tales of Icelandic history and culture. The final stop of the tour, The Blue Lagoon, was a relaxing way to end the day. I highly recommend!

A Great Intro to Reykjavik

We had Rosie for our guide on this food tour, and she was fantastic! We ate a delicious sampling of Icelandic food at five different establishments, all the while learning about culture and history from Rosie. It was a perfect introduction to Reykjavik! I heartily recommend!

Great sensory experience

The full sensory experience - you can see and smell the lava and feel the heat. We also got to touch (and keep) a small piece of lava as part of our package. Although other facilities explain about a lava etc, this one enables you to experience it. It seemed quick because it was so interesting. The only hesitation I have is the location- unless you are part of a bus tour. We ordered a car thru Hreyfill but they did not even allocate us a car for over 15 minutes . However we saw public buses stopped across the parking area out front and the drivers were very kind explaining to us how best to get to Perlan. A shuttle bus would have been helpful.

Sky Lagoon - yes please!

This experience is amazing! The 7 step ritual is unque and adds to the enjoyment of the experience. The lagoon was wonderful and the views from the infinity edge are stunning. This is a wonderful alternative to Blue Lagoon if you are in Reykjavik as it's so much closer that you won't have to spend a lot of time driving back and forth.

Epic experience!

Our guide, Arman, was fantastic! He was very fun and informative. We arrived for the evening tour and had to wait a few minutes as the day had been VERY busy— this didn’t bother us at all because we were the last tour in the water and Arman let us take our time exploring. I definitely recommend coming in the evening and with Dive.IS — our group size was much smaller than some of the other organizations taking groups out. The experience itself is so wild. The dry suits are not the most comfortable and if you have any claustrophobia or sensory sensitivities you may struggle. It is especially snug around the neck and your hands and face do get wet and while the water warms from your body heat inside the gloves, it is cold. That said, the dry suit makes you totally buoyant so all you have to do is glide along in the gentle current as you check out the amazing fissure, blue glacial waters and wild algae growing from the rocks. It was both exhilarating and relaxing. The tour company provided tons of information ahead of the tour that was all very helpful for knowing what to expect upon arrival to thingviellir.

it was fantastic. Altough there are no fish, the view and the colours of the rocks are amazing. The suits are very good so we didn't feel the cold of the water. And we had a great instructor, she explained very good what was going to happen and gave also a good geological explanation.

Great day

Saw a lot of whales! The captain was able to find a location and we settled there (being respectful of the whales) while several humpbacks and a plethora of dolphins entertained us, almost as if choreographed. Naturalist/narrator was outstanding. Easy to understand, gave good information and didn’t talk too much. Naturalist who was stationed at the bar was charming and welcoming.
