Stopped at several...

Stopped at several picture areas and rest breaks with bathrooms on the way to Loch Ness. Took a boat ride, but didn’t see any signs of Nessy. Stopped at a couple rest areas, one had a decent shop with Highland cows. Our driver Paul was really, really good!

Entertaining tour

Informative and fun. The guide is very personal and humorous, with knowledge of the history of the castle. He’s engaging and happy to answer any questions. He also got one of the group to be one of the historical characters to demonstrate how he was quartered and beheaded!

A must-do experience in Edinburgh

Highly recommend this tour! Our guide Davy was lovely and knowledgeable about the castle and was able to answer all questions. We especially liked how he told his stories to make them come alive. He also did his best to remember everyone’s names in the group and brought them into the experience. It really kept the engagement and excitement up throughout! Don’t miss this tour!

Only go on the tour with Paul

Beware of who your tour guide is…. make sure you get Paul as your guide. We were traveling with friends and separated into different groups for the same tour and had a tour guide named Catherine. it was a totally different experience for our friends. Paul was amazing and knowledgeable …. Catherine not so much. So please make sure Paul is your guide. He is from Spain and has lived in Edinburgh for 14 years. totally enjoyed every minute.

Great guide, great tour

My guide, Anthony, was the best. Although I was traveling solo and got carsick on the way up to the highlands, through no fault of the tour, he made sure I was alright and the rest of the trip went great! Overall the highlands were beautiful. Make sure to take travel sickness meds if you’re sensitive to the winding roads

We enjoyed our trip very much!

This experience was very pleasant. Our driver and guide, Jason H., was very helpful and friendly. He knew exactly when to give information and when to let us enjoy the ride on our own. The highlight of the trip was the highlands and the Glenfinnan Viaduct (Hogwarts Express). The only downside of the trip was that you only get 10mins outside of the bus at the Highlands stop.

Isle of Skye

The scenery is stunning! Worth your time to go to Isle of Skye. The Fuaran B n B was absolutely perfect. Our host Angie was as delightful! She brought fresh rolls to our room every morning. Our driver, Andrew, was full of knowledge and humor. He made each day special, stopping for pictures and a story, accommodating for the weather as we went. This was one of the best tours I have gone on!

Lots of driving, but breathtaking landscapes we wouldn't have otherwise seen, all narrated by a delightful guide

I booked the Loch Ness tour for myself, my partner, and four of my family members, all adults - we didn't realize just how much of it was going to be driving when we initially booked it, but the entire country of Scotland is absolutely gorgeous, so if you enjoy seeing breathtaking landscapes, this is definitely a wonderful option. With that being said, if you have issues sitting for extended periods of time, traveling up to Loch Ness may not be the best option for you. Our tour guide, Brian Smith, was an absolute delight - he shared hilarious personal stories as well as historical facts about Scotland, and you could immediately tell he genuinely takes pride in his country as well as being Scottish. There was a brief stop to meet three Highland Coos (definitely a personal highlight for all of us), a more-than-reasonable amount of bathroom breaks along the way, and we opted to do the Loch Ness boat ride when we arrived at our destination. Unfortunately, the weather didn't quite cooperate - it was fairly chilly and ultimately rained the majority of the time, but that was obviously outside of anyone's control, and we were still able to see some truly stunning views of the Loch. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys seeing landscapes and is ok with a fair amount of driving.

Spooky, fun and educational.

This tour was excellent. After a couple of days of sightseeing on my own in Edinburgh, this group tour was a welcome change of pace. It was interesting to learn about the city and its dark history. Our guide was cool and knowledgeable, and the group seemed to enjoy the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a good time.

Good fun and lil spooky

Enjoyed the underground ghost tour. Felt safe being escorted around at night and it’s really close to the Royal Mile. Major Weir was a great guide with some good stories. The tombs were really interesting, and I liked finishing near Greyfriars Bobby after the graveyard, got to see the Bobby statue without all the crowds during the day. Plenty of places nearby for a drink afterwards too. Definitely worth doing at least once.

What an amazing day! Do not miss.

We had an awesome time on the bus tour to Scottish Highlands, Loch Ness, Glencoe. Our driver Steve (in full Kilt mode) was superb, keeping us safe on the long haul day. Our Guide Haley was so cute, personable, knowledgeable, she even played her bagpikes at our stop at the magical Glencoe mountains. They both were true story tellers with so much history and love of their country evident. Only critique (not their fault though) was no wifi on the bus.
