Was a good tour Guide was good & told us about everything we should know just be careful when u get your tickets for train that if your a couple u might not be sat together & make sure u read the tour itinerary because from the cruise the tour is self guided which 1 lady didn’t know & was on her own . So I sat with her on both trains them walked her back to her hotel .

Best Fjord Cruise
Modern comfortable ship, with knowledgeable local guide. Viewing from inside when weather is bad is good, big windows, make sure you sit on the side seats for best view. Good views outside both upstairs and on main deck, obviously more sheltered at the stern. We had every weather possible, rain, snow mist, bright sunshine, but it didn’t spoil what was a spectacular cruise. The Captain was the owner and ex Norwegian Navy, the guide was local and very knowledgeable, both were friendly and happy to answer any questions. Cruise lasted 3 1/2 hours and was excellent value for money. Would recommend without hesitation.

Fantastic experience, would recommend
We had the AMAZING Rigmor and Eirik tagged along too! We got lucky that the sun was shining in the sky and there were only four of us! Such good fun, lots of interesting knowledge and lovely to see both the older and newer parts of Bergen, all the highlights and lots of extra tips along the way such as great cafes, restaurants, light bites etc. I’d only been in Bergen 1 hour, booked it last minute and was so glad I did and would highly recommend. Also meant I left with an idea of the layout of Bergen and where everything was for the rest of my trip. Both Rigmor who was a dream and Eirik who was fab and added in bits here and there, each had their own special areas of knowledge but were both fun and vibrant and really giving with their time and knowledge! If you get either then you will have a wonderful time, even more so if it’s dry!!

Norway in a Day - Magnificent!
This was a great way to do “Norway in a day”. I didn’t expect to like the Viking Village - but I was pleasantly surprised. The views were spectacular; our guide was very informative; they got us back to Bergen in about 10 1/2 hours. I took about 300 pictures, I’m sure. Weather was perfect; an unforgettable day! I highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for something to fill one day in/around Bergen. You will spend about 3+ hours total on a bus…but the drive is beautifully scenic.

The pretty Norwegian city of Bergen has many nicknames, including “the heart of the fjords” and “the city of seven mountains.” It’s no surprise, then, that so many Bergen tours are outdoor excursions. Marvel at the majesty of the fjords on a boat ride, spend a day seeing the many dramatic waterfalls in the area, or go on a guided hike through the mountains. In the city itself, you can also join a guide for a walk through the historic wharf, fortress, and market.
