This tour was EXCELLENT! Murdoch ( Mr Fabulous) was very knowledgeable, funny , passionate and informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone. One note the Fairy Pools are AMAZING but you need to be physically fit enough to get to them but they are worth every step .

Good option for those without a car

Efficient way of visiting Isle of Skye if you don't have a car. Comfortable, clean bus and knowledgeable guide. Alex shared many interesting bits of history with us and even gave us tips on where to get the best pics. If you want to maximize your time enjoying the scenery, soaking in the ambiance, and taking pictures, pack a simple lunch or snack to eat on the bus. The food at the stops is not particularly and there can be a wait on sunny days when the busses are full. The return trip is a bit of a letdown--the stops are more for rest room breaks than for sites. So take advantage on the front end.

We had our tour guide Clare! Very knowledgeable, sweet and took really good care of us the whole day Nice to see the wonderful isle of skye! Its so stunning, rugged and i dont think i can compare it to other places we have been. Very spacious car and one thing that i liked most is that we are not overcrowded in the van. Highly recommend, perfect for kids and adults alike

Such a lovely trip, Kieran was so fun and knowledgeable. We were blessed with the weather and the views were amazing not only on the Loch but driving back through the Highlands. Would highly recommend, I was travelling alone with my 10 year old and we were back in town in time for more sightseeing in the afternoon.

We loved our 2 hr cruise on Loch Ness! Jamie our guide was fantastic. He chatted with us on the way back to the drop off spot and answered a bunch of questions. The cruise is pretty and enjoyable. We did not get off at the castle. Unfortunately, we did not see Nessy. Please note: We took a 20 minute bus ride from Inverness downtown on the Ember bus to get to the spot where the cruise takes off.

This was our first visit to Scotland, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our small group departed on time, and Rab’s insights and candid commentary provided a superb introduction to the region, giving us a clear understanding of where we were going and what to expect along the way. Travelling alongside Loch Ness, we made our way to the stunning Eilean Donan Castle before continuing our journey through the breathtaking Isle of Skye. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting the magical Fairy Pools, whose crystal-clear waters and dramatic scenery made for a truly memorable experience. Throughout the tour, the landscapes were spectacular, and Rab’s knowledge, humour, and storytelling brought Scotland’s history and culture to life. It was a fantastic introduction to the Highlands and a trip we will always remember.

A Brilliant Day Out

This tour was simply wonderful, with a variety of sites and activities and plenty of time at each of them. The bus was comfortable with air conditioning, and Harrison, our bus driver for the day, was a delight, keeping us informed and entertained throughout the whole journey. We had a great tour guide in Karen. From Inverness you are on a real time line. Karen made sure we had 15 mins spare to sort ourselves before the train left Fort William “FW”. Just a tip for future punters: from FW travel on the left or port side to enjoy full sight of the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Spectacular scenery, much photo opportunities, interesting Karen stories throughout. A very enjoyable day.

Great tour! Our Driver, Tim, was awesome! He shared a ton of information about Scotland and the Isle of Skye including geological history and anthropological history of the area. There are plenty of stops throughout the day so that you aren’t on the bus for long periods of time without an opportunity to stretch your legs. Very glad we did this tour!

It's a very chill ride....

It's a very chill ride. Takes you through the beautiful Loch Ness with stunning views of Urquhart Castle (my favorite part). It's nothing fancy, but for the price it's worth it. There is an interesting history audio that plays for part of the trip. You can sit inside or outside on the boat.
