Great tour even in the rain

Such an easy way to travel from Inverness to Skye! Very comfortable coach for a long drive. We stopped for toilet breaks the right amount. We had great weather for the castle. The inside isn’t too spectacular and I should have saved the entrance fee and spent more time on the grounds and with the view. We had terrible weather in Skye but still had some very dramatic, very Scottish views of the cliffs and sea. Our tour guide Charlie was the best! His knowledge of Scottish history and the stories behind everything we passed was terrific. He kept us engaged throughout even though the weather caused some sights to be missed. Thank you, Charlie! If you want to visit Skye, this is a great, relaxing way, and the Scottish weather just is what is. Great photos, memories, and stories.

I've been on multiple tours around Europe and this was hands down the best one. I absolutely loved Murdoch's stories and explanations and his passion and heart for Scotland and the Isle of Skye! The weather wasn't the best on the day of the tour unfortunately, but the tour was still very much worth it. Can't recommend it enough!

We Thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Wonderful trip upon Loch Ness and loved our visit to Urquhart Castle. Spectacular scenic views and we are so lucky to have to had blue sky on the day. All staff were helpful throughout. Recommend this tour.

Ideal and simple.

Very simple and ideal way to see a part of the Lough and the famous castle. The boat has sonar so if your lucky you may catch at glimpse of the Lough Ness Monster! It also offers a great opportunity to learn about the Lough, geology, history, lore etc..

It's a long day, but a wonderful tour. Our tour leader/driver was incredible. He gave us so much history, local information, and humor. He made the tour what it was. The steam train was lots of fun, but the trip up and down Loch Ness was unforgettable!

What a fantastic experience with Timberbush Tours! From start to finish, our Isle of Skye adventure was exceptionally well organized, with breathtaking scenery, fascinating history and plenty of memorable stops along the way. Our tour guide Jason was outstanding! Engaging, incredibly knowledgeable and full of interesting stories about Scotland’s history, culture and landmarks. The commentary throughout the journey made the experience so much more enjoyable. The itinerary was perfectly paced, taking us from the beautiful Eilean Donan Castle to the colourful harbour of Portree, the dramatic Old Man of Storr and the spectacular Kilt Rock. Each stop offered plenty of time to explore, take photographs and enjoy the scenery without ever feeling rushed. Bathroom and refreshment breaks were thoughtfully scheduled, making a full day of sightseeing comfortable and relaxing. Timberbush really knows how to deliver a memorable Scottish adventure. A perfect day in the Highlands

This was a perfect way to spend a day in the Inverness area! Our guide Sonia was wonderful, with loads of Scottish charm. We learned so much and also had the best time experiencing as much of the Highlands as we could in a day. The itinerary was perfect with plenty of toilet and cafe stops along the way, although be warned that a lot of shops and restaurants are closed on Sunday if that ends up being the day you go. It was a little stressful to make time for lunch due to this but it all worked out! Highly recommend.

2 day Inverness tour- take the tour!!

Busy but well worth it! Well organized!We saw alot of sights and had frequent stops to break up the bus ride. Limited time in Portree as late getting in and early leaving- only downside. Stewart was great as our tour guide!! Plenty of photo stops & interesting facts✨️ The bus was comfy, enjoyed the small group number of people. Stewart made sure we got back to Inverness in time to catch our train...thank you for a wonderful time!!

This was so fun and a fascinating trip. My 12 year old really didn't want to be on a boat but even she loved it towards the end. The guide was really informative without talking too much and the boat wasn't crowded, which was great. We got some amazing memories and photos

Sligachan magical waters

For the girlies who want to go to this tour for the magical water where you dip your face for 7 seconds for eternal beauty, this doesn’t necessarily go there, but is on the way to and back from the fairy pools. Richard took extra time to take us to Sligachan where we were able to get granted our eternal beauty. The trip was really beautiful and paced well. Donan castle looked unreal. The fairy pools was a nice hike down and back up. We were only given an hour there. Richard was very generous with his time and patience with the group and he was a great tour guide. Thank you Richard for making one of my bucket lists come true!

Great tour! Our Driver, Tim, was awesome! He shared a ton of information about Scotland and the Isle of Skye including geological history and anthropological history of the area. There are plenty of stops throughout the day so that you aren’t on the bus for long periods of time without an opportunity to stretch your legs. Very glad we did this tour!
