What are people saying about Pompeii

Top tour
If you do this tour, you MUST have Gianluca as your driver and guide. He’s not only knowledgeable but willing to show you things that the average guide won’t. He’s spent a lot of time explaining things and helps to make sure you understand the culture.

Good way to get a taste of Pompeii.
It was a great way to get a taste of Pompeii. The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and kept a pulse on the group. It is a lot of walking over very uneven territory! The weather was perfect and it was still quite a tiring adventure. If you want to explore the nooks and crannies of Pompeii or take slow time to geek out- this is not your tour. If you want to get a good amount of information and see a good chunk of the main area or are short on time and want to check this box- this tour is perfect. I imagine if you wanted to continue exploring after the tour you could- just don't exit with the group. Booking this even just to skip the line and kick off the tour with information would be worth it.

Great tour but all Greco-Roman archeology sites start to look the same.
Well worth the tour. The guide really is a PhD archeologist! She spoke excellent english. By the end, one site begins to look like another. But the skeletons encased in stone at the end of the Pompei tour are something you won't forget. The tour of the Lupanar (brothel) in Pompei took an hour of waiting to get to the 3 minute walk through.

Our minivan tour to...
Our minivan tour to Pompeii and Sorrento was absolutely amazing. Our driver was lovely, navigating through the traffic of Rome and the countryside. The guide at Pompeii was full of interesting stories of the ancient times of the area, lunch in Sorrento by the sea was beautiful and the many surprising stops with treats were lovely. Thank you.

Pompeii is the crown jewel of Italy’s archaeological treasure trove, but this ancient site is sprawling and offers little posted information explaining its jumble of ruins. Pompeii tours bring the history of the Roman city to life with archaeologist guides who provide insights about its excavated art and architecture, focusing on the highlights to cover the site in just a few hours. Pair Pompeii with a guided visit to nearby Herculaneum, a wine-tasting lunch in the surrounding vineyards, a hike to the volcanic crater atop Mt. Vesuvius, or a scenic excursion along the Amalfi Coast for an unforgettable day trip.
