What are people saying about Pompeii

A wonderful full day
It requires a lot of walking. There is a break for lunch on your own, not a lot of choices. They will escort you to the train and on the train into the herculaneum. They do not escort you back to the train after the second tour. you have to find it and pay on your own. It’s doable but just be aware. It is a very long day.

Wonderful experience
This tour of Pompei and Herculaneum was fabulous. Vincenzo, our guide, and Pietro, our driver, were on point with excellent information and assistance. It was our second time doing the tour in 10 years and we learned so much new info and saw different sections of the sites. Highly recommend!

The best decision! Book Marisa and enjoy your visit!
We had an amazing tour! Marisa did such a good job and we deeply appreciate it. You must visit Pompeii with a tour guide, the stories she told us completed and elevated the experience. It was like walking the city before the eruption, I could picture everything she was describing. Thank you for an amazing day!

Great!
Great experience. Having a guide was super helpful to understand what was what, the stories behind it and all the beautiful artwork. Great experience. You need more than 2 hours to see the entire location but 2 hours to understand and then do it at your own pace.

Pompeii is the crown jewel of Italy’s archaeological treasure trove, but this ancient site is sprawling and offers little posted information explaining its jumble of ruins. Pompeii tours bring the history of the Roman city to life with archaeologist guides who provide insights about its excavated art and architecture, focusing on the highlights to cover the site in just a few hours. Pair Pompeii with a guided visit to nearby Herculaneum, a wine-tasting lunch in the surrounding vineyards, a hike to the volcanic crater atop Mt. Vesuvius, or a scenic excursion along the Amalfi Coast for an unforgettable day trip.
