Absolutely Fabulous Experience

This is an absolutely fantastic excursion. The service was amazing. They picked us up right at the port and drove us all around the beautiful city of Palermo. Pietro was very good at letting us know where and when to meet for pick up and Alessio was the perfect guide. Out of all of our excursions this was, by far, our favorite. The drinks, snacks and music were an added plus! Do not skip this trip.

We took the Palermo street food tour, tasting panelle, crocche', and raschiatura, then we continued with sfincione, the spleen sandwich, arancina, and finished with a Sicilian cannolo, all truly excellent. Carlo, our guide, was wonderful and very knowledgeable not only about the food but also about the history of Palermo; he took us to some historic spots that are still not very touristy, real gems. If you come to Palermo, don't miss this tour, it's worth it!!!

Fun, interesting and delicious tour

We met Lorenzo early at the meeting point. We started the tour there and for the next 3 plus hours we traveled around Palermo learning about the various destinations and eating great food. The areas we traveled were new to us, and it was nice to explore new locations. We stopped and discussed Saint Rosalia who was said to banish the plague. He also told us of a personal relationship his family has with her. It was very interesting and brought his personal experience into the tour. Some food we had included Sicilian pizza, pasta and a white port wine which was delicious. One thing we really appreciated was that whenever we stopped he counted to make sure everyone was there. We went to the "secret" bakery where we had excellent cannolies. He told us that they brought in a hawk to chase away the pigeons. Lorenzo has a wealth of knowledge for the history of the area. We went to the market and he gave us a history of it and why the vendors were in specific locations. His knowledge, coupled with his enthusiasm and great sense of humor made this an excellent tour. I highly recommend it and I hope you can get Lorenzo as your tour guide.

Enjoyable in depth guide to the must sees in Palermo.

Titania is a very experienced guide who knows Palermo and Sicily very well. She gave us a 3 hour walking tour of Palermo and we visited all the main sights in the centre. We knew we wouldn't have time to go into each one so we wanted to get an overall picture and ghen went back in our own time. Tatiana gave us lots of advice about where to eat and was happy to send us links to websites of other places to visit. She was even happy to give us advice via WhatsApp on the following day. Tatiana is a very easy guide to engage with and we would definitely recommend her service.

Giovannie is a very likable host. He made this experience feel like a family event. Working under his direction was like being in the kitchen with your chef brother. Creating and chating like you would at the family table. The best meal comes from the preparation. So much great food was enjoyed on Giovannie and Robeorta's roof top terrace. Our guide, Umberto, was amazing! He drove, spoke English and explained everything in detail along the way as well as when we were in Castlebuono. Castlebuono was worth the journey, a very picturesque town on the top of a mountain with a castle. Great little shops . Also Cephalu is a must see. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone staying in Palermo!

Fabulous tour, perfect guide!

The tour was fabulous! From the magnificent Cathedral of Monreale, the castle in Castelbuono and the seaside town of Cefalu. Our guide was Fabio and we could not possibly have had a better guide, he was polite and the perfect gentleman! A great driver, with a love for his city and surrounds. He shared historical facts, cultural iniquities and funny snippets. It was a very hot day and Fabio made sure we had cold water and were comfortable all the time, and more importantly he went out of his way so that we could see everything. The Monreale cathedral was closed for mass when we arrived there (Sunday morning) but was due to open in the afternoon, so Fabio reversed the itinerary and took us there on our return to Palermo. For us, that was “going up and above” the norm! The inside of the cathedral is something to behold! And to finish the day, he treated to the most delicious ice cream we’ve ever eaten! Thank Fabio for an absolutely fantastic day. Mille Gracie !!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great cooking workshop and definitely recommended! We started by making a delicious tiramisu. Then we made fresh dough ourselves, which we made tagliatelle and ravioli. While enjoying a prosecco this was a fun and cozy experience. The cook was enthusiastic and gave clear explanations. Our fresh pasta was then cooked and served with a delicious tomato sauce. During dinner, water and wine were poured. Finally, we enjoyed our homemade tiramisu. Everything was very tasty, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. Definitely worth it!"
