Excellent Palermo pasta class with Tiramisu
UgoChef made this experience so enjoyable. He welcomed us into his home and made us feel like friends. The recipes were easy to make and follow. Also, the appetizers he served were delicious! We would highly recommend anyone looking for a good, informative and tasty pasta/dessert class to look no further and book with UgoChef. 🥰

An Experience You Really Don't Want to Miss!!!
An incredible day!!! Prepared a 3-course Sisilian lunch with expert and patient help from Alicia and Francisco. Learned all the traditions of ingredients and preparation passed down from their "nonnas" in a classic, beautiful setting. Had a fabulous experience — learning how to tool eggplant balls, rolling various kinds of pastas, mixing seasonings, and mixing a ricotto dessert and then sitting down with our 2 hosts for some scrumptious eats. They even gave us the name of the best Gelato place in Palmero (!!!) and a family-owned out-of-the-way [but still walkable from out hotel] Sicilian restaurant (fabulous pasta) that caters to locals (and boy was it crowded on a Sunday night!). Both exceeded all expectations. So glad we meet them. But be aware: if you don't have any enthusiasm for learning to cook, having great conversations and don't like meeting locals...this is not for you.😉

An experience of a lifetime
10/10 cooking class. Francesca is so passionate about cooking and you can really tell. This class is something we will never forget and it was the highlight of our entire trip over the last 2 weeks. We made two types of pasta and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. If we ever come back to Palermo we will take another one of Francesca’s classes. Unforgettable and so much fun.

This experience will...
This experience will exceed your expectations. Carlo curated an incredible experience, combining his warm and personable character (and mother), welcoming you into his home, and mixed with beautiful scenic views, the freshest food, and incredible flavors that will leave you wishing you could experience it again. I cannot recommend this excursion and Carlo highly enough!

Would absolutely recommend!
Maria Giulia was a wonderfully welcoming host for myself, sister, and father from start to finish. She did an excellent job teaching each of us how to prepare ravioli. The food was delicious, the conversation was fun, and we had such a memorable experience learning a traditional Italian dish together.

Family Friendly and Authentic Sicilian Cooking at Home
Cooking with Francesca felt like cooking with family, it was warm, fun and delicious! Our kids absolutely adored this experience and it was so special to learn to make so many dishes. We will cherish this memory as a family. Also, the pastas were the best meal we had in all of italy. So delicious! Francesca was a delight to spend the day with and she was wonderful with the whole family!

A wonderful way to spend an evening in Italy!
What a fun evening!! We were met by Lidia our funny and sweet chef for the evening outside the cooking school . We were a small group of six in total which was fabulous as it was intimate and fun.
Lidia showed us how to make the dough and knead it so it is soft and fluffy ( hint be gentle) then We all made our own and Lidia made sure we had it to perfection. While the dough was resting we made vanilla gelato which was them out in a gelato maker.
Wine time was in between the two!! Once our dough rested we were shown how to stretch it and top it. Then we each were taught how to put the pizza on the paddle in the oven. They take no time at all to cook and then the best part we are it. By from the oven, chewy crust. Light and fluffy and just delicious. The gelato was amazing too!!
Lidia took a Polaroid of us and gave us a list of restaurants in Palermo they like. We also got the recipes.
A really fun evening. The company is great at sending reminders leading up to and the day of the workshop.
Highly recommend.

Cooking Sicilian
Patricia was fabulous. Fun grocery shopping in the market, and then returning to her lovely home in the old part of Palermo. The food was delicious, and learning how to make limoncello was so interesting. Wine was good and conversation was stimulating!! Don’t miss taking the tour with Patrica

Excellent experience for...
Excellent experience for all ages! Maria is an exceptional Chef and Lorenzo brings it all together with his translation skills and his ability to make everyone feel like family. We learnt so much about authentic Sicilian cooking. The meatballs were to die for! And they even accommodated my daughter’s food allergies. Truly wonderful experience, Highly recommend!

Special tour that will be a memory never forgotten!
My daughter and I had such a lovely experience with our host, Patrizia! She was warm and welcoming and full of energy. She taught us how to make beautiful tasty pasta, Sicilian pesto, caponata and a traditional dessert! The meal, wine and company was something we will never forget!

Cesarine: Pasta and Tiramisu making
I booked this pasta making class for myself, my husband, 2 kids and their spouses. We had the best time making 2 different types of pasta and our own personal tiramisu. This class was in our host's personal home. Alice and her partner (sorry can't remember his name) were so welcoming, genuine and so nice. We had a lot of fun with them. Once all the pasta was cooking and the tiramisu was chilling, they set us up in their living room with appetizers and Italian wine. We all sat down at their dining room table and had a delicious feast of the 2 different types of pasta, one with a pesto sauce and the other with a ragu sauce served with Prosecco. The fresh pasta and sauce were out of this world delicious. The tiramisu we made was wonderful. If you're ever in Palermo and find yourself with some extra time, I would highly recommend taking this pasta class with Alice. We booked this class through Viator.

Two hours from Palermo...
Two hours from Palermo but worth it.
The terrain along the way was interesting as is the Valley of the Temples.
Our driver Dario was one of the best we have ever had. An accomplished driver and very courteous. He was pleasant company for our day trip.
