This water-filled slot canyon offers a completely different experience from the dry, crowded routes closer to Moab—making the 1.25-hour drive well worth it for those looking for something truly special. Located between Moab and Hanksville, this canyon features a rare combination of narrow sculpted slot sections and playful pools, creating a fun, immersive journey that feels more like exploration than a hike. Because of its remote location and limited access, this canyon sees far fewer visitors than more popular destinations, rewarding those who make the drive with solitude, unique terrain, and a true off-the-beaten-path adventure. If you’re deciding how to spend a hot day outdoors, this canyon is an excellent option. While the approach can be warm, the shaded canyon and frequent swims make the experience especially rewarding once inside.
