Best Mexico experiences

Best experience in Mexico City so much fun to do it with friends, but you could do it alone. You literally fly over the pyramids during sunrise. Mar is amazing and explain the itinerary excellently would 100% recommend and do it again. This is a must for anyone traveling to Mexico City.

An incredible experience...

An incredible experience that’s worth every penny. My fiancée is terrified of heights but the balloon basket felt very sturdy, and though untethered our pilot ensured the ride was smooth. The views are unmatched! Logistically incredibly smooth, and Barbara was a fantastic guide. We asked her to set us up with an English guided tour of the pyramids and it was worth every penny ($2000 pesos). Alejandro provided so much valuable knowledge that really enriched our experience overall

Amazing day trip

This was a hands down best experience with Amigo Tours. Our tour guide Jonathan (Johnny Cash) and team mates Darwin and Pastor were amazing! very respectful, funny and knowledgeable. The tour was very well organized- from timely pickup (we chose the 5 am), comfortable bus, detailed information on Mayans and the Chichen Itza pyramids, the swim at the Cenote and wonderful buffet lunch, tequila tasting and exploring the small town of Valladolid. The team took great care of us. Highly recommend this tour.

Loved our tour!

We had a lovely visit to the pyramids with Deanna and our driver Jorge. Deanna was so knowledgeable about the pyramids and really brought them to life with her stories and history about them. It felt like the right amount of time to explore solo to take pictures etc and time with the group to learn more about the history. Definitely come prepared to walk and be out in the sun. We would definitely recommend this tour to friends coming to Mexico City!

Well organized and...

Well organized and communicative about picking up ant 5am after booking. Prepaid lunch was confusing. While booking, you have the option to pre-pay for lunch. But after booking, you receive a menu to make your lunch selection with the caveat that prices are 20 to 30 pesos more than the menu. We then had to settle up in cash on the second stop after a long day. The tour operator did not have records of our prepayment, so we had to show her the booking to prove we had prepaid. Then she converted the additional charge with a lower than market exchange rate if you paid in dollars. We were also informed as we left the pools that we would all be dropped off at the Angel and responsible for our own transportation back to our hotels due to protests. One of our group slipped and broke her ankle at the pools, and the tour operator did not offer to drive her to medical care or back to her hotel. instead they deposited her on the side of the road.in an area with no seating.

100% recommended Mexican experience

This is an absolute must-do when in Mexico City! The tour was a great way to meet new people and have some beers/mezcal and tacos. It’s great to learn about the history of Lucha Libre too and have tour guides so knowledgeable! The fights are incredible and overall, we had a great time!

Nice Day at the Beach

Great food, drinks, and atmosphere! We also parasailed and jet skied which was extra. Ray was an excellent waiter. Only negative: I could not reserve a table on Viator, but tables were reserved when we arrived. I was in a party of six women, and we had to move an umbrella ourselves to put two tables together. The umbrellas have heavy cement bases, and we watched the staff move an umbrella for another party after telling us they could not be moved. This person was not our waiter. If you want to have a great time on the beach, Mr Sanchos has you covered. Service inconveniences didn’t stop our fun, but Mr Sanchos management probably should address these issues. You might call ahead to see if they can hold a table if you’re in a large group. Lastly, it will cost you $20/person roundtrip to be packed in a 15 passenger van to get to Mr Sanchos, so I wouldn’t opt to be grouped with other people. Enjoy!

Great experience

So amazing. It was worth waking up early. I took my kids 11 and 16. I thought it might be scary, but it wasn’t at all. It goes up slow and you just float. Even the landing was great. Riding on an airplane is way scarier! I have scratched that off my bucket list, I’m happy about it!

Awe-Inspiring

Riding a hot air balloon over the pyramids was so peaceful and beautiful. It brought tears of awe into my eyes. The photo shoot beforehand was so fun. Ruth did a great job putting us at ease and getting us wonderful pictures (for an added cost). Breakfast in the cave was delicious and romantic. The pyramids guided tour was very informative and I enjoyed picking up souvenirs at the shop and the liquor tasting. 10/10 would recommend!
