Eric and his team were great guides. They were kind and patient for the people (including me) who were slower than others and never made us feel bad. The hike itself was challenging but very rewarding. It pushes you to your limits with the hikes offered and sleep. Pending weather you have the opportunity to hike fuego and the summit of acatenago. With the timing you would only have maybe 2-3hrs of sleep for hiking to base camp of acetanago, fuego, and the summit of acatenago. It’s a great challenge to push your limits and the destination is worth it for adventurers and nature lovers. The company provides walking stick which is very much needed with the terrain and inclines. They also provide lunch, dinner and breakfast you transport yourself or you pay a local porter to carry your things up as they follow along side you. 10/10 experience. Definitely condition your body before hand or else it will be challenging to complete and you must walk back and find your own way home if you are to quit the hike partway.

Excellent
Amazing. My trip was incredibly smooth. The trip had very windy bumpy roads and the driver took them easily which I appreciated especially as I get car sick. I felt he could read my mind and stopped for a bathroom break without me even asking. I felt safe as a solo female traveler. Was the on time and communication was great as well. Comfortable shuttle with working AC

Full day of touring Pisa and Florence
I’ve always wanted to get to Pisa and Florence and when I saw this private tour offered as well as previous great reviews, I booked a tour for myself. I had an amazing full and wonderful day with an excellent, friendly and knowledgeable guide, ‘Elizabeth’. She was very flexible with the schedule too and answered all my questions with patience! Drive was beautiful and the day and cost of the tour was highly worth it. Just book it!!

Best Excursion of the Trip – A Joyful, Shared ExperienceI
I went into this cooking class expecting to learn specific recipes (a teaspoon of this, a half cup of that), but what I actually took away was far more valuable. I learned how much Guatemalans value food and meals as deeply shared experiences. In that sense, it was one of the most insightful and memorable lessons of our entire vacation. There were 12 of us “students,” and the chef was brilliant connecting with each of us. With his warm personality, humor, and perfectly timed pours of wine, he turned the evening into a lively, festive gathering. We all became his sous chefs around a large, beautifully arranged prep table filled with ingredients for an appetizer, soup, entrée, and dessert. Everyone pitched in with prep tasks—mine included chopping vegetables and then making the fresh tortilla dough. (Somehow the chef sensed I’d been experimenting passionately with pizza dough at home for months—talk about a magical touch!)The real highlight was the group dynamic. Complete strangers quickly felt like old friends. We laughed, talked nonstop, and connected in a way that only happens when people are cooking, eating, and sharing wine together. The evening was pure joy from start to finish. I may not have walked away with new technical cooking skills, but I gained a genuine appreciation for the Guatemalan approach to food as something communal and celebratory. Easily the most entertaining and heartfelt 4 hours we spent on any excursion. Highly recommended!
