Amazing Mayan Excursion!

We had an amazing time - the visit to Cenote Saamal was definitely the highlight for us! Hugo, our tour guide was incredible, and you can tell he is passionate about Mayan history and loves his job. He was another highlight of the trip. The all you can eat lunch was fantastic - the pork pibil and lime soup were our favorites. It rained nearly all day, and we had to end up taking shelter at Chitchenitza, but we didn’t let it ruin the day. After a late start to the day, and a few people arriving back late at each stop, our time was pretty short at Villadoid, and we weren’t dropped back at our resort until close to 9pm. Overall, we had an amazing time and would recommend this excursion!

Wonderful Experience

Voltare was very professional and detailed. It is a bigger excursion company so they’ve really got everything down with the experience. From our timely pickup in a comfortable van, to breakfast, to our professional pilot that brought us on top of pyramids and up above the clouds, and then explored the pyramids on our free time after. Although we did not opt for the tour guide many others did.

Great time in Tolantongo

Incredible experience from start to finish! Our tour guide Diego and driver Nico were fantastic, and the company was completely reliable — everything ran exactly according to the shared itinerary. Pickup was well-organized and right on time. One tip: bring your own sunscreen. They do provide some, but it's not quite enough to last the whole day. Tolantongo itself is absolutely worth the visit. Just know it requires a good amount of energy and physical effort — there are plenty of stairs to climb and walking involved. That said, the views are breathtaking, and you're given enough time at each location to really enjoy it.

A great tour with great guides Franzisco & Mario and a very good bus driver too. Just the right length. Bus was about 20 minutes lates picking us up and we were there 10 minutes early as advised, so it was a bit frustrating having to wait at the side of the road for 30 mins before departing, worrying that maybe we were in the wrong place. but the tour itself was good.

The beach was absolutely beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The soft, white sand was clean and well maintained, making it perfect for long walks and relaxing by the water. The ocean was clear, calm, and inviting, with stunning shades of blue that created a peaceful atmosphere. There was plenty of space to spread out without feeling crowded, and the gentle sound of the waves made the experience even more enjoyable. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the beach was unforgettable. I would definitely return just to enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility of this amazing beach location.

Truly a Bucket List Adventure

We would highly recommend this hot air balloon tour. It was completely worth the very early pickup and truly felt like a bucket list experience. The ride was much smoother than expected, we felt safe the entire time, and the views were absolutely surreal — a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. The entire tour was extremely well organized and orchestrated, and our guide for the day, Sarah, made us feel very comfortable throughout. She guided us through a wonderful experience from start to finish. This is a must-do!

Amazing Experience & Staff – Highly Recommend!

We booked the VIP tour with Amigos Tours for our anniversary trip to Mexico, and the experience completely exceeded our expectations! Our VIP package included hotel pickup, a fantastic buffet, a city tour, and the main event: Chichen Itza. The commute was incredibly comfortable. The bus was well-kept, exceptionally clean, and the AC was blowing cold the whole time. What really made this trip special, however, was our amazing crew: Ricardo, John, and our driver, Noel. They went above and beyond to ensure our safety and the security of our belongings. Instead of just a standard ride, they provided great entertainment and genuinely educated us on Mayan culture and history. The logistics of the entire day were executed flawlessly, including a very efficient process for paying taxes and fees. A huge highlight was visiting the cenote and experiencing the beautiful Mayan ritual—it was a truly great touch that added so much to the day. A tip for future travelers: Prepare for an all-day adventure! It is a long day, but with this team, it is absolutely worth every minute. I would like to start at the beginning as far as booking the actual activity. Makes it super easy for me to navigate different activities, especially in Cancun. I actually did the hip-hop boat for my bachelorette in 2022 and so it was only right for us to come back and allow one of my good girlfriends to experience this grand time. Only thing I would say is that I wish they provided transportation to it from the boat as it would just give us less of a headache to worry about and focus on having fun the whole time. Booking on Viator was super easy and they even accommodated us with the 12 o'clock party versus the 4 PM party. Really love the vibe there. Independent know who's on your boat will let you know if you're gonna have an amazing time or a grand time! We bought two bottles of Don Julio for 150 in. They served sandwiches at the egg in the music was definitely rocking shout out to the DJ. I also want to honorably mention the host he was definitely bringing the vibes. I love that they allow people to get off the boat and get in the water, jump off the boat and just experience a good time. I recommend every time you go to Cancun to book this excursion. 10 out of 10 and I would definitely be back for a third time.

What a wonderful day! The weather cooperated with us. We reached a high altitude of 9,100 feet. At takeoff, we just floated. We never felt a jerking or anything. We had the smoothest ride on the balloon. The pilot landed effortlessly on the back of their trailer. Breakfast was delicious. The cave was cool. The pyramid is steeper than you can imagine and the total area of the sun and moon pyramids is so vast. Truly amazing to think about how an ancient civilization built them with their hands.
