- How to start touring: Open Action’s separate audio tour guide app once onsite. • If there is just one tour, launch it. • If multiple tour versions exist, launch the one with your planned starting point and direction.
- Go to the starting point No one will meet you at the start. This tour is self-guided Enter the first story’s point and the audio will begin automatically Follow the audio cues to the next story, which will also play automatically. Enjoy hands-free exploring. If you face audio issues, contact support. Stick to the tour route & speed limit for the best experience.

We paid for the petrified forest and the address that was given to where we should start. The trip was a road that has not been used in probably 50 years. It had a barrier across it and the desert had taken it over.

The starting point for my Petrified Forest National Park Audio Tour is the standard park entrance that visitors typically use, and the tour is designed to follow the main park road. I also offer two versions of this tour because, during a government shutdown, certain areas of the park may be restricted or closed. The tour is valid for a full year after purchase, and it works offline — you just download the app and tour before you go — so you have plenty of time to use it when the park is fully open. You can also contact me daily from 9 am–6 pm for assistance with setup, a refund, or a replacement tour. I’d be happy to make this right for you.

We bought this experience on a whim as we were driving through the area. We didn't have time for hiking so this was a great alternative. Loved all the facts and if you let it have access to your location while driving through, the stories are right on time.

The app worked well except it kept cutting out at times while we were driving to the next stop and often repeated stories. We enjoyed all the information. It made our tour of Petrified Forest National very meaningful.

We loved the back stories and history of the stops on this tour. It was easy to follow. Only problem was if we backtracked, I couldn't figure out how to get our 'guide' to catch up to where we actually were. But it was easy enough to manually choose the stops. We will look at these tours for other vacation spots!

The Petrified Forest is great, the app not so much. When using it & you are listening to a location it will go backwards to a previous location. You had to push the arrow to get back to the location you were at. Very annoying.
