Excellent food tour with Woody!
Excellent food tour of Pike Place Market lead by our charismatic, fun, and knowledgeable tour guide Woody! All the food we sampled was fantastic from the cheese at Beecher, the clam chowder at Pike Place chowder, the raspberry bar from The Girls, and the smoked salmon from Pike’s fish market. We left stuffed and ended the tour with Gelato.

I decided to play “tourist” in my city, and had so much fun…discovering places that I’ve never been to, meeting great people in my group, and our guide Magnolia was great…fun, personable, and knowledgeable of Seattle & Pike Place Market. Highly recommend, and now I have some cool new places to go back to!

Perfect way to taste your way around Pike Place Market
If you wanted an introduction to what food and drink options are available at Pike Place Market then this is the tour for you. We visited 8 different places to get a taster of - ginger beer, ice cream, fish and chips, clam chowder (very surprising seeing as wasn’t always a fan), Turkish delight, lentil soup, chocolate cherries, fruit, donuts. Every one was delicious.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable not just about the food, but also in giving a brief history of different parts of the market.

Pikes Market tour
John, the local veteran has been around the Block a few times and knows his stuff. Seems like he knows most of the people who run the shops and restaurants. Answered all our questions with pomp and circumstances

Be prepared to walk for 2 hours.
John was a great tour guide. He really knows the history of Plke Place Market and took us to places we did not know existed. The food was soooo good and he even gave us a great recommendation of where to get drinks and food with a beautiful view after. We highly recommend this tour.

Worth it
Had a great time. It's a lot of walking. Go on an empty stomach. You won't leave hungry. The guide is extremely informative and very responsive to any questions. I would do another tour with him if I ever come back to Seattle.

Woody was extremely knowledgeable and had a great personality. We truly enjoyed our time walking, tasting and getting an education on the history of Pike Place. Everything about the food tour was fantastic !! I personally feel that Woody deserves 10 stars and above!!! Thanks Woody for such a great afternoon.

My experience
That you have to walk in any kind of weather.
-Not as much food as expected
-Lots of talking if questions are asked ( spend too much time at 1 stop)
-Tour Guide was knowledgeable, but appeared a bit tipsy.
