Perfect day with the Mountains and Lakes

My husband and I went on this trip on July 27th, 2026 to Emerald Lake, Kicking Horse Bridge, Moraine Lake and Lake Louise from Calgary. Steve was our guide. We had a wonderful experience. Other than the weather being perfect, our guide, Steve, made the day very enjoyable. Steve knows the areas very well. He told us the names of some mountains we wouldn't have known other wise. His explanation was very simple and personable. He thought ahead of time of what we might need and gave us simple instructions to follow. People were on time to come back to the bus at every stop. He was approachable for questions but was not intrusive. We were a big group that day, but everything ran smoothly like a charm. Thank you so much for a great trip.

The Madeleines Were the BEST!

Even with a smoky haze we had a wonderful trip on the Lake Minnewanka cruise! Both our tour guide and our captain (both Madeleines) were fantastic and made the morning very enjoyable! We learned a lot and the ride was nice and smooth. We got to see a bald eagle and other wildlife back on the shore as well! Would recommend for all ages if you're looking for something a little different outside of hikes and bus tours!

Great tour

We had a very good half-day tour, with plenty of time to enjoy both lakes. Sean was an excellent guide, sharing lots of interesting information throughout the tour, and he drove us safely and comfortably. One suggestion would be to make the pickup point clearer. According to the information provided by Viator, I was waiting in front of the hotel, while the bus was actually waiting behind the hotel. Clearer pickup instructions would make it easier for guests to find the bus.

Very easy!

Booking through Viator made this experience very quick and enjoyable! We were able to reschedule our return trip so that we could have dinner at one of the restaurants and stay longer up top. Even with a smoky haze we had lovely views and really enjoyed exploring! Would recommend to travelers of all ages!

Amazing time on this tour!!

We had such an amazing experience on this tour! We originally planned to visit the lakes on our own, but when that didn’t work out, we booked this tour, and honestly, we’re so glad we did. Our tour guide, Ahmed, was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire day fun and engaging. He shared so many interesting facts about Banff and the surrounding area while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Our driver, Joe, was wonderful as well. He got us safely to every stop, and everything ran smoothly throughout the day. We loved that the itinerary included several beautiful lakes, and it was so nice not having to worry about planning or driving ourselves. It made for a completely stress-free day, and we were able to just relax and enjoy the incredible scenery. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Banff. Thank you, Ahmed and Joe, for making our trip so memorable!

Had a perfectly brilliant day with guide and driver Alex . He was very knowledgeable and friendly and we enjoyed the visit to Lake Louise, Moraine and Banff town. The Grizzly Coach Tours day tour is great value for money, and I would strongly recommend it, if you want to do a quick day trip to Banff.

Wonderful Intro to Banff

Liam was our tour guide and it was a great small group experience taking in more than we could have on our own in a short period of time. Although we only saw a few deer and ravens for wildlife, he filled the tour with great stories and one of biggest benefits was someone to take your family photos at each scenic stop so we have memories saved. Highly recommend Radadventures and would tour with Liam again!

Amazing tour, literally cried in awe!

This tour was an absolute highlight of my trip and a truly unforgettable experience! If you're visiting, it’s something you simply cannot miss. It’s the perfect activity to enjoy with the whole family. A special shoutout to our tour guide Jack, who was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and one solid dude, throughout the entire journey. 3 Lakes, Natural Bridge, Johnston Canyon

Highlights were the 3 lakes - Emerald, Louise and Moraine were breathtaking, views were magical. Cave at Johnston Canyon was crazily long to enter, impossible to enter given restricted time tour is constructed. Instructions of meeting point was clear, booking was easy. Our driver Kul¹pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. When a bear was sighted, he safely slowed down and turned around and drove slowly for us to see. That was lovely. We did see a black bear very briefly before he ran away. Kulvinder also walked us to the point for a great view of Lake Moraine.😀 Would be better to have time to kayak on the lakes. But it's not possible on tours as often the ques were so long. Disappointed that we didn't go to Banff as this is included only during winter, as Lake Louise was included. This point was in mentioned in the inclusions. Tour was of good value.

BOOK the tour!!!

BOOK IT!!! It was the most amazing, unique experience! There are only a few places in the world where you can drive onto a glacier and this is one of them! The ice explorer vehicle was so unique! Went a whooping 10mph and had 5’ tires!! My kids had a blast! Walking out onto the glacier was amazing! My husband did a cold face plunge and my kids felt how cold the water was! A once in a lifetime experience!
