What are people saying about Warsaw

Pierogi!
The activity was great! This was a highlight of our visit to Warsaw. Dominik greeted us with lovely charcuterie and his own drinks, explaining all the offerings. Then we got cooking. He was a good teacher - guiding our dough work. It was a good mix of traditional and contemporary fillings. Very fun evening!

Very informative!
Andrew was very informative and knowledgeable about the history of Warsaw. His presentation was well organized and he stayed on task and he was also very patient with the loud protest happening all around us. The information about Warsaw is so important and Andrew’s presentation evoked a lot of emotion. I felt like this particular tour had too many people and I prefer a smaller group but over all, the tour and Andrew were great.

This tour is a must do experience in Warsaw!
This tour is phenomenal, Adrian is engaging and fun and he knows the local area so well! The food was delicious and Adrian does an incredible job of organizing the tour so that you get to taste everything, but it’s not too much, it’s just right! We had so much good food, you must do this food tour in Warsaw!!!

Great food tour in Warsaw!
We had a great good tour with Kuba the other day. I won’t give away his surprises but it is clear that he has put some effort into ensuring all have a great time. Good sampling of different traditional Polish food and drink in places teeming with locals. We had some limitations in our group; mobility (all could walk but slower) and Gluten Free guest (not easy with Polish Cuisine) but he managed all very well and worked hard to ensure that everyone was looked after. Recommend the tour and Kuba.

Exceptional Tour and Host
Great friendly host that was very knowledgeable on all aspects of Warsaw and Poland as a whole. We travelled from Australia and the experience was so good. We connected with some fellow Australian’s and made friends with couples from the USA and Germany and Belgium. Highly recommend doing this tour, if we were staying longer, the taste of Poland tour, would have been the next experience to enjoy, unfortunately, we had other commitments to attend for the remainder of our stay.

The best 69 minutes!
What a delightful venue with incredible acoustics for this concert! Our pianist tonight couldn't have done any better at Carnegie Hall. The music was mesmerizing and watching his hands perform was captivating. I am not a classical music officiated by a long stretch, but this concert is a must. Do get there about 10-15 minutes early. Do get a seat where you can see the keyboard, do not come in 10 minutes late, plop your butt in a chair directly across the Steinway from the pianist and whip out your camera! There is a 10 minute intermission and CD to purchase if you choose. Just make time to go!

A Really Great Day for Most
After teaching a unit on the Holocaust for the last 30 years with my 8th grade students, I am glad that I finally made a trip to see Auschwitz and learn more about its history. It was both a harrowing and fascinating tour. We spent two hours being guided through the camp at Auschwitz I, and then another hour at Auschwitz II/Birkenau. Our guide (I am sorry I didn’t get her name) was exceptional. Her knowledge of the camps was second to none and she explained everything with a great deal of compassion and empathy. At times, her narration was so strong that she made us feel the pain of what people went through in the camps. I applaud her immensely.
The driver who picked us up from where we were staying and delivering us to the Warsaw Central train station, and then picking us up at the end of the tour was also very friendly and prompt.
The only drawback of the tour was the local driver who took us from the Krakow train station to Auschwitz and back. While asked more than twice by people in his bus to turn on the air conditioner as it was very hot inside the vehicle, he ignored those requests. Moreover, he adamantly refused to drive one couple back to their hotel, the same hotel from which he picked them up in the morning. He made them get out of the bus at Kraków’s Old Town and find their own way back to their hotel. I am certain that this couple did not receive all that they paid for.
Despite that, it was an informative and worthwhile trip to a place that is so very much a part of our world history.

It is a 3-5 hour ride...
It is a 3-5 hour ride from Warsaw. There was construction and 3 accidents along our way there. Felt like forever in the van. Once there it was very rushed, busy, and a lot of walking including up and down many staircases. Alex our driver was excellent and would give him 5 stars for his stellar driving skills and his patience with the construction and accidents. He really helped the uncontrollable situation and made the journey enjoyable.

Delicious evening!
We happened to be in Warsaw on Valentine’s Day and this was the perfect way to celebrate. We had so much fun learning how to make pierogi! Maria and Zuza were fantastic teachers and so fun. We loved sitting down to eat with the other class participants.

Incredible Tour Experience in Warsaw – Highly Recommended!
Travelling in the vintage truck was a definite highlight, and with us being the only people on the tour, it felt like a very personalized tour! The tour guide was fantastic, and very chatty giving his own personal experiences! Had a great day touring around Warsaw.

Great experience.
A fair bit of walking required to see some of the sights but all on flat ground. A few steps to climb.
Highly recommend this tour especially if on limited time. Very knowledgeable driver to point out the city sights and explain Polish History. Note that this does not include entry into any museums etc.

Unforgettable Tour
Our guide, Martin, had vast knowledge and ability to transmit information in a very interesting and clear way. His ability to maintain solemnity and balance in a hard site to visit, Majdanek Concentration Camp, was impressive and much appreciated. We enjoyed learning history about Poland and Europe, past and present. Truly an extraordinary tour.
