What are people saying about Riga

Great tour outside of Riga including Rundale
Tom is the best guide I have had in quite some time. He is very young, but has a good understanding of what is important in life so he presents things in a realistic light with a good understanding of history (his school major) and Latvia's current situation. He drove very carefully and safely too. The tour itself was very interesting. First the Hill of Crosses (in Lithuania), esp. with Tom's stories of how it evolved despite being "controversial" with Russia. Then the Castle of Rundale - beautiful, many rooms to explore before the gardens which are so pretty, and finally Kaunas, a completely different castle, more like a fortress, and the stories around it. I loved the day through all these discoveries! And a big thank you to Tom!

Great way to get a basic...
Great way to get an understanding of Latvian food and to learn about the historical and current importance of the Riga Central Market. The size and scale of the market are unique and it should be a must see while in Riga. My tour with Baiba was a great learning and tasting experience. She’s a fantastic tour guide and extremely knowledgeable about Latvian food and culture. I highly recommend doing this tour.

Good overview of Riga
Excellent historical overview of the city. The pace was good and we learned a lot. Although I had trouble with the headset initially, it was swapped out and then worked fine. Two others had trouble with the headsets as well. I would definitely recommend this walking tour as a nice way to learn about Riga. There was non-stop flow of information.

We absolutely loved our walking tour in Riga!
We absolutely loved our walking tour in Riga! Our guide made the Old Town feel magical, full of stories, charm, and little hidden details we never would have discovered on our own. From the beautiful Town Hall Square to the stunning churches and cozy streets, every stop felt special because of the way she brought the history to life. We especially loved hearing the unbelievable story about St. Peter’s Church and learning why the flowers in Livu Square are always blue — those little details made the tour feel so personal and memorable. And of course, the adorable Cat House was one of our favorite moments! Finding the famous cat and hearing the funny story behind it made us smile the entire day. It’s those charming touches that made this tour stand out so much. Our guide was warm, knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about Riga. She also gave wonderful local tips at the end of the tour that made the rest of our stay even better. Thank you for such a lovely experience and for making us fall in love with Riga. We will remember this tour very fondly!
