This is the best way to learn about Warsaw and Polish history. Warsaw is very spread out so the car tour is ideal. Our tour guide was fantastic and so knowledgable.

Very informative; the tour guide shared quite a bit of information about monuments, sites, restaurants and the history of Warsaw.

Jacob was excellent and entertaining. Great knowledge of Warsaw. As long as you can get in and out of the car you will have a great tour.

This was a great to see so much of Warsaw with a private guide at our own pace. Jorek did a great job in sharing his own life experience and answering all of our questions about history, culture, economics, and a multitude of topics

What a fun and intimate way to be introduced to Warsaw. Maximilian, a sixth generation Warsaw native, had a particularly inciteful perspective on the city and its history. This is an “overview” tour, but Max took a deep dive on the historical figures and events we requested.

Very interesting. Our tour guide Jakub was amazing. Very well read, easy to understand with a tremendous wealth of knowledge. I highly recommend this tour, but you need Jakub as your guide!
The car was super fun!

Very knowledgeable guide and quite the historian. Warsaw in the spring is magical and breathtaking. A perfect way to get an overall view of the most important and beautiful parts of the city. Driving around n the vintage was fun as well!

A fair bit of walking required to see some of the sights but all on flat ground. A few steps to climb.
Highly recommend this tour especially if on limited time. Very knowledgeable driver to point out the city sights and explain Polish History. Note that this does not include entry into any museums etc.

Had a fantastic private tour of Warsaw today in an old Fiat taxi with our guide, Jacob. His knowledge of the city & its surrounds was incredible. We learnt so much about Warsaw & its history from him & had an awesome time. We had such a great time & asked so many questions (Jacob knew the answers to all of them) that we went way over time but he didn’t mind at all. Old Town was a highlight with the architecture & history which Jacob explained brilliantly. Recommend this tour & Jacob to anyone that wants to see a lot of the city in a short period of time.

Jakob took us on the retro fiat tour of Warsaw. Jakob is amazing, so kind and so knowledgeable about the history of Warsaw and Polish history. He brought us to 4 points of interest and walked us through the history of Warsaw which is far more colourful and interesting than we had thought. Jakob arrived at our hotel to collect us and immediately we felt at ease with how pleasant he is, taking photos of us with the 1982 car! First stop we arrived at old town where we walked through the city walls where Jakob explained the history behind paving stones to building facades and the incredible architecture of the city. It is a sad fact that city was decimated in WW2, it was so interesting to hear how the city planners and architects rebuilt the city based on original plans of how the buildings stood and reconstructed precisely. From there we went to new town where we Jakob explained the history of the area and brought to life the markets that once existed. We loved that Jakob tailored our tour. The traffic was very heavy, it being Christmastime and a number of roads were closed due to roadworks so Jakob suggested a change of tour to avoid sitting in traffic for an hour. Which we were very happy about, who wants to sit in traffic! We then visited the Palace of Culture & Science where Jakob explained to us the history of this building, good and bad. We look at this impressive building whilst passing by but we don’t understand the cultural impact without context. Jakob explained how the Soviets ‘gifted’ this building to Warsaw and how the locals felt at a time of rebuilding from the war to modern day. From there we went to the MDM neighbourhood built in communist 1950s. Jakob showed us all of these amazing architecture features that people blindly walk past everyday. The history behind the stone carvings and ceiling mosaics are so interesting. We would have never known any of this history if not for this tour and we wondered if locals know these exist. We then headed to the royal gardens which are stunningly calm and wonderful. We arrived in the evening when it was very dark. However we were glad to visit with Jakob to hear the history of the kings summer houses and the amphitheater and today we can visit in the daylight. I will say the pictures at night are stunning. We get the best of both worlds. Overall this was by far the best city tour we’ve been on in a long time. Friendly, interesting with lots of unique history you just wouldn’t know about otherwise!! Highly recommend! I don’t know if you can select tour guide but if you can select Jakob he is absolutely wonderful 10/10!!

Jakob was well versed in Warsaw history and a very pleasant tour guide. He was a good driver and the Fiat was very cool!

Jacob was very informative. We were delayed at airport and he accommodated us. A full 4 hour tour through Old Town New Town The Palace of Culture and Science as well as the west side of town known as Praga. There was quite a bit of walking. If possible I would book an earlier time since our tour ended at 8pm. Jacob is a native of Warsaw. His English was excellent.

We loved our tour of Warsaw with guide Jakob, he was incredibly informative and answered all my questions with detailed explanations. Jakob spoke English very well and was very easy to understand. I highly recommend Jakob as a guide and recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn a great deal about the history of Warsaw.

Unique way to see Warsaw via old Fiat with a knowledgeable guide, Max, who can adjust the tour and historical info to your preference.

Jake was fantastic. Highly recommend him. Even with Marathon going on he was able to maneuver around Warsaw for over 4 1/2 hours showing us hidden gems that no one would ever know about. The fiat was small and does not have air conditioning.

Jacob was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of the history of Warsaw and of Poland. We visited all the sights as advertised. I particularly liked that Jacob took us to the Praga area of Warsaw because it was interesting to see the eastern part of Warsaw which is probably neglected by most tourists. Also we saw many parts of Warsaw which gave us a valuable overview of the city. And since we did this on the first day of our trip to Warsaw, it helped us to determine which parts to visit on our own. I would recommend this trip to my family and friends.

Jakub our tour guide gave a great tour of Warsaw. My husband said he made it a very fun and e joysble excursion for himself and his adult daughter. Highly recommend!

Jacob gave us an amazing tour of Warsaw. Extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city. My husband and I really enjoyed spending the 4 hours with him. The time flew by. We highly recommend this tour.

This was an excellent private tour with Martin. He was deftly able to drive and give information, then spend time at a particular location for more in-depth overview of the site and background history of Poland and in particular, Warsaw. It was obvious he knew the subject matter and is also a proud Warsaw resident. We found out that he was a history major in university on the period of American reconstruction as well. I also appreciated that when we gave a perspective on some topic, he would listen closely and even might challenge a perspective, but I thought this was good. It was also a fun tour! We got to drive around in the funny little manual steering/manual transmission Fiat through the streets of Warsaw!
Shaji_K, Aug 2025
We had a good tour of the city with some of the main attractions being pointed out by Karol. The retrofit Fiat car was an interesting experience, though probably not the best idea on a hot day. Great way to see the city.
Jonathan_B, Jul 2025
Maks was full of information and his English is very good. We learned a lot about the history of Warsaw. He was flexible about pick up time and location and even added a social stop at a place we were interested in seeing that wasn’t advertised on the tour. The fiat was a fun added touch.
jeff_w, Jul 2025

Max was great! A lot of fun and entertained the kids very well. Pity him to have to drive that thing around for us though!

What an unforgettable experience! Touring Warsaw in a retro Fiat was not only fun but also incredibly unique. The car turned heads everywhere we went and added a nostalgic charm to the whole trip. Our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and full of great stories that brought the city’s history to life. We got to see both the famous landmarks and some hidden gems we’d never have found on our own. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for something beyond the typical sightseeing route. A perfect blend of culture, history, and fun!

While in Warsaw doing the Retro Fiat tour was awesome! Our driver Karol was so knowledgeable professional and Kind. This amazing tour was a private tour at such a great rate. I would encourage this as a must do when visiting Warsaw. The old yellow Fiat was cool to cruise around the city in!

Maks was a great tour guide and he accommodated our late arrival due to us having to drive from Sopot/Gdansk area. He made sure to still try and show us everything that was part of the tour...even it it was a little fast to make up for lost time.
