After pickup from your Warsaw hotel, board an air-conditioned coach destined for Auschwitz (Oswiecim). Along the way, receive a historical introduction to the former Nazi extermination camp from your guide.
On arrival at Auschwitz-Birkenau, skip ahead of the lines with priority admission and begin a guided tour of the museum in your small group. See preserved wooden watchtowers, railway ramps and barbed fences that conjure the atmosphere of the concentration camp.
See, too, belongings such as shoes, suitcases, and documents that belonged to Jewish prisoners in the site’s comprehensive museum. Then, take a short ride to Birkenau camp—the extermination and labor camp where 90% of prisoners were killed—to enrich your knowledge of the Holocaust.
Midway through the tour, enjoy a traditional Polish lunch of soup and a main dish. Your tour concludes with drop-off at your Warsaw hotel.

- Due to the new Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum policy, name and surname of each customer are obligatory and need to be provided accurately at the time of booking. In case name or surname is incorrect, this may result in customer paying for their ticket at Auschwitz themselves or even prevent customers from visiting the Museum. Each traveller needs to have valid ID or passport at the Auschwitz Museum.
- By booking less than three months before the planned tour date, the customer acknowledges that online tickets for Auschwitz may no longer be available due to museum restrictions and high demand, as tickets often sell out well in advance. In such cases, tickets will need to be purchased on-site by the driver at the ticket office, which may involve waiting in line
- If a booking is made just a few days in advance, the tour operator will arrange an early departure from Warsaw (around 4 am) to secure tickets on the spot. However, the local provider cannot be held responsible for ticket availability at the ticket office
- If tickets are sold out, customers will be refunded the nominal price of the museum entry tickets, but not the cost of the entire tour. Alternatively, clients can opt for a non-guided visit to Kraków's Old Town. Such situations are extremely rare and beyond the control of the local provider
- Pickup is available from hotels in Warsaw city centre - there might be a supplement for pickups outside the city centre. You'll be picked up between 4.00 am and 8.00 am. The tour operator will confirm the exact pickup time the day before the tour
- The museum requires the name and surname of every guest, please add this additional information at checkout. Providing a wrong name and surname will prevent customers from entering the museum
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers

Booked last minute, and so while this tour was full, they were able to upgrade me to add Krakow for free! Highly recommend as the drivers and guides we very knowledgeable. Only complaint was that my lunch was kinda overcooked (I got the pork chop).

Probably the most important tour to do when visiting Poland - so much to learn and see. Our driver (Mikoaj) was a safe driver and organised the meeting with our tour guide. The lunch was delicious.

Our driver Pawel was fantastic! Very friendly & accommodating on the long drive to & from Auschwitz from Warsaw. The Mercedes Van was perfect for the long drive for 6 of us. Our Tour guide for the 2 camps was amazing - really knowledgeable & informative. The lunch at the cafe was good quality polish food & the portions were good. All-in-all a great experience despite it being a long day overall.

Excellent tour but the guide in Auschwitz’s tour was quite unfriendly. At one point was on the phone and 2 from my party were left behind. Not paying attention to the well-being of the members. When brought to her notice was quite rude and unkind. Not learnt much about kindness and empathy in this place which should have taught someone by now.

Excellent trip
We really enjoyed guide/driver Jasper. Woud highly recommend. Only one small negative. The tour promised perogies for lunch. We had pork chops instead. Good, but we were looking forward to the pierogies.

We had a group of seven. Our guide (your employee from Viator) that pick us up from the hotel was over 20 minutes late. We even paid extra for her to pick us up at our hotel because we were a little bit further from the town center of Warsaw She was an extremely slow driver! I believe it was her first time ever driving a van! When parking a van she parked too close to the sidewalk and scrape the whole front end bumper of the van! She also missed several turns which added time. When making a U-turn we almost got hit by an oncoming car 🚗 We also missed The first 20 minutes of our tour. 😡 On the way back to our hotel we stopped at a gas station to grab a quick drink and use the restroom. We asked our tour guide if she needed gas and she said no. Looking at the gas gauge we knew she would not make it to our hotel without getting gas there at the gas station we stopped at. When we got towards our hotel. We were five minutes away and running very late. We had to go get a Covid test And told her we had an appointment before we left back towards our hotel and she needed to go get gas! It made us late for our Covid test at the airport as well. 😡.

I am very sorry to hear that our services did not live up to your expectations. My sincere apologies for the unforeseen inconveniences. Please note that our priority is safe driving, so our drivers can not exceed speed limits. Also, she wanted to please you with lunch around noon, before the museum tour. Unfortunately, the eating there took too much time, which caused you to be late. As for the petrol, yes, the car needed petrol which is usually necessary for them to run. We still hope that your visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau was a valuable experience for you and that you will keep plenty of positive memories from your stay in Poland.

Highly recommend this tour if you wish to save the hassle from finding your way to the site yourself, since the tour is arranged for you and the transport is so convenient. My husband and I took this tour from Warsaw. It is a long road trip. 3.5 to 4 hrs. It was so worth it! Everyone should visit Auschwitz at least once in their life.

Although it was a long drive to and from Warsaw, we had a wonderful driver who took good care of us throughout the day. When we got to Auschwitz, we joined a group with a terrific tour guide (Agnieszka), who could not have been more respectful of the place and what happened there. It made for a poignant and powerful experience.

Driver pick up us at the hotel and we drove for about 3.5 hours to Auschwitz with one stop on the half of the route. At Auschwitz other people also came from different places and guide with all of us went on the tour where she explained all details regarding Auschwitz and besides all information she provided her english was excellent so it was very pleasant to listen to her. After the tour we had some lunch which was ok and then again 3.5 hours drive back to the hotel with one stop. I really recommend this tour because you can learn plenty of stuff regarding Auschwitz and it is very well organized.

The memorial is 4 hours drive one way to Auschwitz and includes 2 hour walking tour of Krakow. Our guide at the memorial was outstanding and we this is subjective to several history tours on our trip. Her emotive and well organized commentary kept us on top of history at each section of the memorial. Needless to say, Auschwitz is a testament to the ultimate nadir of our human morality and the pinnacle of its apathy!!

It's worth driving 4 hours to see the place. It put things in perspective. Our tour guide was good. Tiring to drive from Warsaw though.

The drive from Warsaw was extra long due to construction, so our day was 14 hours. The driver was on time, professional, and willing to stop a for a break each way. The lunch was ok, the Polish part could be improved, meaning... perogies, cabbage rolls, borscht, etc. It is quite chaotic as the tours get organized, pay toilets, book store, restaurant. All groups use the radio transmitter, but our system was very poor, with either interference from other tours, guide was not using her own mic properly, rain, and getting too far away from the base.
The tour itself is very informative, upsetting, sad, etc, I would have to say that seeing how big the Birkenau section is, really hits home the horrid stories that we have all heard. It is very expansive, and there is a lot of walking for this section.
Our group was glad we did the tour, but a long day, and not happy about the headphone/radio system.
